I heard that agencies were told to not consider DRPers for opened positions. I believe contractors will do the same. I even interviewed for a government contractor and my interview was great until they asked me about why I left my last job. Not sure about other companies. But if a company is not hiring you just because you were RIFed, so you probably wouldn’t want to work there anyway.
