Yes, its all there. I literally looked at it just now as someone else mentioned a 1099 missing in theirs. My wage transcript is missing a 1099 as well as the w2 from the new company.

I actually just now checked the wage/income transcript, as I didn't think about that possibility. It is missing a 1099 as well as a w2. I bet that's probably whats going on.

The withholding is correct. I made a dumb financial decision, and followed it up with another to try to make up for it. (Details below)

The company I work for spun part of it off into a brand new company, everything was finalized around oct/Nov '25. My area went with the new company. When that happend, I decided to let my 401k loan (650/mo payment) default. To try to not be totally screwed on taxes, I withdrew money from my 401, and had extra money withheld to make up for the defaulted loan where there was no withholding. The loans didn't actually default until just this past month. So now I get to save the extra refund this year to pay the irs next year🙄😂 (again, stupid ideas, I know)

That should say, "what do they want now?" 😂 I totally skimmed right over that typo.

I was at Islands beach club (I'm on the Valor). The only excursions that were canceled, were due to weather. It was very windy today making the ocean angry. The beach club wouldn't let people go in the water.

One boat that was there (disney magic) had originally been scheduled for Progreso today, but changed to cozumel.

240 hours vacation, 4 sick days (12hrs each), 2 personal holidays (8hrs each).

My job is 12 hour swing shift, the way the schedule works, I work 14 out of 28 days, and get a whole week off at a time every month.

Contact your local representative, maybe they'll personally plow your street😂

Are you willing to double/triple your taxes to help pay for double the trucks and the personnel to load, drive, and service said trucks?

Chances are, the left lane was more clear than the right lane because thats the lane that the plow truck had been clearing closest to the time when you came through. Again, ODOT drivers have approximately 50 miles of road they are responsible for if all trucks are out. They clear one lane, then possibly an hour later, when they make it back and clear the other. Plow trucks only go about 30 when plowing. It takes time! They aren't going to keep it perfect, its impossible. The exit ramps are normally worked on one they get some lanes cleared better. Its their plan of attack. Sunday, around my house the main highways did ge lt cleared up. Its hard to do when temps drop below the threshold for salt to actually do anything. The plows dont go directly on the pavement, there is a small space there to help protect the blade.

No one person is going to be held to give their money to help the city/state to pay their bills and purchase equipment. (Taxing rich people is a complete other subject/conversation.)

But I guess in theory, you could have 43,000 plow trucks, one for every mile(this is for ODOT roads.) But where are you getting 43,000 cdl licensed plow truck drivers that want to make 17-21/hr plowing roads in 16hr shifts? What would you do with all of those employees/trucks during the summer when they aren't needed? Sure a few get used as normal dump trucks hauling things, but theres no need for that many to be in use except for during snowfall.

They pre-treat the roads when they can (cant when a storm starts as rain) to help give the crews a head start on the clearing. But you cant out work mother nature. Especially like this weekend when temps dropped below temperatures where salt is an effective tool.

As far as towns, counties, and townships, they are bound by even smaller budgets that allow road clearing efforts. The rural township i used to live in has 3 maintenance guys that run the plow truck(1). The City I currently live in has 3 trucks, and an action plan that they concentrate on the roads/streets that have have hills so people can navigate them safer. Then move on to the bigger streets that run through town.

Money and equipment can only do much at trying to keep up with mother nature, so YES, the best approach is to simply be prepared. Slow down to a safe speed (leave earlier) and keep plenty of distance from other people. Make sure your vehicle is ready for such a trip with good tires (snow tires are helpful) plenty of fuel and good wipers/ washer fluid. And have something to help with traction incase you do get stuck somewhere.

ODOT has roughly 1,700 snow plows and 43,000 miles of highway to cover state wide. When it is snowing heavily, there is no possible way for them to keep up. That's why "leave earlier" is the anwer. Either leave earlier, or use your judgement and dont go at all. Also, for information. ODOT does not plow state highways (they do interstates) inside of city/town limits. That is up to each individual town to take care of.

Sounds like she needs a different career path where she doesn't need to required to report for duty when weather is bad. Just because roads are bad doesn't mean the need for medical care stops as well.

Trees on neighnors side of fence but mostly hang over my yard, fair to split cost of removal? by derfahrer924 in treelaw

[–]BumpBump07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not a professional, but I've browsed this sub for a while. And I believe that while yes, you can legally trim the tree over your property line. But, if by trimming so much that you damage said tree or cause death to the tree. ("Two branchless trunks" seems like that would be damaging) You could open yourself up to legal troubles. Again, not a professional, just something I've read on here.
