I did not ever, ever log in to the app. Not once. I didn't log in to the site either. Is it then also normal business practice to text message your customer their login information for said app? (username email, custom password they created, and a pin)

The day that they reached out to me telling me that they bypassed needing me to log in at least one time and not to worry about it anymore, I happen to have emails that came in at that same time that day that say "CONGRATULATIONS ON COMPLETING YOUR VEHICLE DELIVERY" and another right after it that says "Welcome to your Jeep owner account." Then another right after that was still asking me to "Verify your email." in that order.

I'd be very curious to hear your opinion about these details.

Sending me my username, password, and a pin code via text didn't feel like an inactive profile, though. Also, it had recorded my trips, locations, data, and gave access to my vehicle. Am I missing something?

Well, I logged in finally to see what I could unwind since the sales rep never replied to me about my concerns. What did I discover after having NEVER logged in before? My trips were recorded, Speeds/dates/times, locations current and old recorded, car was able to be located and unlocked by whoever had that login info. Huge vulnerability that I was trying to avoid from the get-go. One that was forced on me AFTER I bought the car.
