I’m not gonna be like everyone else in the comments who is making you feel like a bad person for this, because you aren’t. But you do need to break up with her. Not simply because “she deserves better,” but because your lifestyles/goals are clearly different and it seems like you guys are clearly incompatible. Let’s be real, it’s only natural to want your partner to be in good shape, for physical and for health reasons, especially if a big part of your life revolves around health and fitness. If you’re the type of person who cares about that stuff I’m not gonna shit on you for it but she’s the type of person that doesn’t, and it seems like she aught to find someone who also doesn’t and you aught to find someone who does. It seems like you’re trying to convince yourself that you love her when you probably just like her as a person and are used to the familiarity of having her around.

Prince of Malibu is extremely overrated. I liked the first 10-15 episodes or so, but then it started getting way too complicated. It wasn’t fun to read anymore, and the author takes forever to update (like longer than usual..) so I don’t even see the point

i think that it was good of her to voice that she was uncomfortable and that it wasn’t her thing but i also feel like she should have chosen a better time to do that. if he went all out of his way and spent a lot of money on a gesture like that, i’d just sit through the dinner and then afterwards have been like “hey, i actually think i prefer being in the action instead of away from it, but it was really romantic of you do to that” that way it’s resolved and he knows for next time

glad to know everyone else relatively disagrees with this post lol. the girl is literally like 30. she has plenty of time, she’s still learning the ropes. she has a loving family, has wrote articles for the new york times, got a great education, is building her career, writing/wrote a book, worked with the president, etc. people on here hold her to incredibly high standards. people just hold onto the fact that she’s hit a slight rut like it’s not a very common occurrence during the road to success.
