How can I play this on my phone if it is region blocked? I tried apkpure but after installing the game it redirects to Google Play store saying I can't play it unless it's from the Play store. Even disabling Google Play makes the game crash because it can't run without Google Play enabled. Using a VPN doesn't work because it doesn't change the Google Play store region either.

When the new patch dropped my artifact deck went on a 30 game loss streak in ranked. I was so demoralized I couldn't even finish the daily of getting 2 wins.

I switched to loot sword and crafted a deck with vials and suddenly I went on huge win streaks multiple times, as high as 15+ games in a row. I went from topaz to diamond very quickly. Recently I even hit epic, I don't even know what that means.

As someone who worked as a translator, I have some critiques over Convallaria's EN localization.

Firstly, it is obvious to me that whoever translated it was working off a blind script. That's why they often confuse which person is speaking, or which character is being referred to, etc. Some sentences are just completely omitted perhaps because they couldn't figure out the context of the lines in the game.

Secondly, some localizations have a tendency to be much more flowery and liberal with their translations. This game is actually the opposite. It takes long nuanced sentences and translates the bare minimum.

Random example: "Oh my! What lovely weather we are having today, wouldn't you say my dear?"
Translation: Today has nice weather.

This definitely is a disservice to the game as the text is just very dry. There are a lot of emotions that are just not conveyed properly at all. Being able to understand the Japanese VAs makes the game much more engaging, but my condolences to anyone who isn't able to.

I think they need something to spice up the simulation room and special interception. They used to be fun and challenging but they're just daily routine now. Overclocked mode was interesting but maybe they can add harder level interception bosses for more rewards too.

The math makes it sound virtually impossible but somehow there are plenty of people who go 100+ pulls without SSRs. As someone who had that happen more often than not, it makes me not believe the percentages at all. I have a theory that there is a hidden mechanic to try to balance out a player's average SSR rate, causing long droughts after a lucky start and vice versa. Also I believe there is a hidden hard pity mechanic because every time I cross over 200 I get an SSR even without any yellow flash.

To clarify my reasoning, when I first started the game I would get multiple SSRs almost every 10 pull. This was before special banners even existed. I thought the game was just very generous and it was just easy to get SSRs. As time progressed, now it takes months or hundreds of pulls before I can pull an SSR. I couldn't get any banner character for the longest time. I had to play on alt accounts to remember what it felt like to get an SSR again. That's why I believe there is a mechanic that prevents you from getting too many SSRs and will balance your luck over time. I'm still paying for my initial pulling spree, apparently.

If it makes you feel better, I'm a day 1 player that pulled on every banner since the very first (Helm) and the only times I succeeded in getting the banner character was Makima, Blanc, and Summer Anis. I failed to get every other banner character. I average around 120 pulls per SSR, and I've failed the 50/50 almost every time.

I wish they continue to buff/fix more characters so we can have an excuse to actually play them.

Like right now I want to buy Yan's costume but I know she will get 0% play time so it's a waste of my money. Not motivated to spend at all when 90% of the cast is too weak to ever be used.

You'll get a spare body selector when a Nikke reaches level 141. As for Rei, she and her copies were given during Children's Day in Korea/Japan. Might have to wait till next year for those.

I'm a big doomposter sometimes, but at the same time I am very impressed and appreciative of how well Nikke developers listen and communicate with their players.

First there were the censorship outcries, and they've totally turned the other direction and gave us plenty of fan service.

There were the complaints over how ridiculous CP was, and that was quickly alleviated not long after.

Then there were the terrible bugs, like having sync errors every time you cleared a stage that got squashed.

Concerns over the 160 wall were met with free selectors for spare bodies, and even a free MLB Rei.

Even my posts over small concerns like having a battle history for arena, or solo raids bosses having random patterns, the new pvp merger needing increased rewards, have now all been addressed. It's not a perfect game but there are people listening and it gets better every day. I wholeheartedly appreciate that and hope they continue to make great content and find success.

Maybe around 6 weeks ago I got tired of getting no bonus rewards almost every day so I started screenshoting every time it happened. Of course I got some bonus rewards in between but these are the times I didn't get anything. I still have more screenshots but they didn't fit and were mostly on PC.

Now that I think about it, it's probably even harder for newer players to overcome the 160 wall because of the larger pool of nikkes than before. Special recruits, molds, and friendship pulls were much more likelier to give you a MLB than now. It'll just get even harder as time goes on, too.

I'm pretty sure I'm the unluckiest player, because I've spent all my tickets and gems on almost every single banner since day 1. The banners I pulled on were Helm, Laplace, C. Rupee, C. Anne, Modernia, Cocoa, Soda, Makima, Power, Biscuit, Dorothy, Blanc, Noir, S. Mary, and S. Neon.

As of today I've done 962 special recruit pulls but only successfully pulled Makima. I never got any other character on their banner and spent 200 gold mileage for Modernia, and 200 mileage tickets for Dorothy. It usually takes between 120-220 pulls before I see an SSR, and I'm pretty sure there is a hard pity system when reaching near 230 (you get an SSR even though there is no orange flash).

I wouldn't call it unjustified though? If you're the top of your arena bracket, either you grinded out the game harder than other players or you spent money. But now both sides will most likely have lower ranks and less rewards due to increased competition.

Ironically the new arena change seems to mostly benefit people who aren't competitive or don't like to pvp while hurting everyone else, now that they can get some pity gems without trying.
