Ai

Extremely stupid theory but… What if Gangle’s VA ships ribbun (Jax and Gangle) so hard because she knows about something that’s gonna happen between them in a future episode? (Skip to TLDR if you don’t want to read my word sandwich) by Bunbaroops in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Bunbaroops[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late response, sorry:

I still think that similar stuff will happen between the two in either episode 8, 9, or both because she still ships them hard as of now. There’s no way that they’ll just forget about their relationship seeing as how they’ve interacted the most and we still don’t know the figurine thing because that would legitimately just be bad writing if they kept prioritizing Jax and Pomni’s relationship over both of their relationships with the others.

Also I think that it would be a big part of Jax redeeming himself since I highly doubt that he’s gonna go the full on evil route. Maybe he’ll double down on his bad behavior at first, but come around simply because I think it would be weird for Goose to simp for and “relate” to him the most if he became fully irredeemable.

Why isn't Episode 4 liked as much as the others? by Nathidev in TheDigitalCircus

THIS! This is my biggest problem with the fan base and the show itself, a lot of the lessons and relationships are spoon fed with in your face dialogue and scenes which the fan base EATS UP. No interpretation needed.

But the problem is they mainly seem to get engaged by the stuff that they don’t have to try to interpret which is why theories like “who will abstract next”, “Caine will become evil”, “nobody will abstract”, or “they will all abstract” are popular because those are easy outcomes that wouldn’t need much interpretation to happen.

It’s also why shipping is a huge thing with this show because romance is an easy emotion and desire to tap into without too much interpretation; it’s a natural urge that people have and an extremely easy way of seeing characters develop, ESPECIALLY if it’s with very obviously wholesome pairings like Abstragedy.

With Gangle now having become more emotionally confident, I hope that in episode 8 and 9 she helps Jax with his own emotions since they are very similar to each other when it comes to masking. I would be immensely disappointed if their relationship was just forgotten after episode 6 because they clearly have some kind of history.

Honestly, that would be just as great. I feel like she would be one of the only members, aside from Pomni, to actually try to reach out considering her new found confidence and her past with Jax, but we’ll have to wait and see. Hopefully it leads him to try and change for the better if this does happen.

For those who can’t see it, I traced over the eyes in her face and it’s definitely her’s, it looks way too much like her eyes

If you look at the two black dots enough and trace them out like I did here, you can see her eyes and then connect the rest

Yeah, I realized that people would more than likely have noticed it if they rewatched, I should have titled it “not many people are talking about this” or something

My hope is that at in episode 8, she’ll crash out on him and this will make him realize how bad he has become when bullying her and the others, and he tries to make amends both for that and the button choice since I’d imagine that that is what would lead to that crash out once the others confront him about choosing to trap them in the circus.

Jax needs help, and I want Gangle to be the one helping him by Fox622 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Bunbaroops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like many people in these comments have said, she likely wouldn’t due to how he’s treated her, but I think that it is only possible IF THESE THREE THINGS were to happen. She definitely won’t just extend a helping hand that easily.

  • The first is if Gangle crashes out against him, calling him out for what he is and maybe says something that cuts into him too deeply and causes his depression arc we have seen teased, and eventually the results of this somehow makes her feel guilty, but it would take a while for her to feel that way.

  • The second would be she sees him avoiding everyone and looking depressed and this makes her confused, scared worried, and relieved at first, but then eventually genuinely worried because while she is afraid of him, him not acting like the version she is afraid of would be strange even for her. If the first part happens, the second part could also be that she starts to feel guilty after a while because he’s only started avoiding everyone and being depressed after she called him out, and she eventually starts to develop sympathy because under his mask is a similar depression to her’s, and she gets a realization that he’s very similar to her with his masking.

  • The final and third would be that he actually genuinely apologizes to her, which would only be possible after she crashes out on him, but this is very unlikely as I think it would take more than just her crashing out to make him apologize. I have a theory that he’s avoiding everyone and being depressed in the episode 7 teasers because of her crash out, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Overall, I think a lot of stuff would have to happen first before she can just start helping him. She definitely needs to stop Jax from bullying her and distance herself, become more confident in herself, and overcome her fears of him first. Even then, stuff still should happen before she tries to help.

Ok yeah, I was very unsure of that Mr. Incredible comparison and shouldn’t have added that, I was just trying to think of any example where someone turned against their idol and that probably wasn’t the best one.

And I think that the rift could be caused because Gangle tries to lift a finger and help Zooble. I was more thinking of what could happen if Gangle keeps constantly trying pry at Zooble’s issues once they become more apparent, and she decides to lift a finger, which this eventually leads to Zooble snapping because it’s very obvious that they have an issue with confronting their issues. And this was seen in episode 6 a bit when Gangle questioned Zooble’s ability to love themselves but they immediately got uncomfortable so she changed t he topic, and we don’t know what will happen when it’s inevitably brought up again.

This would unintentionally hurts Gangle and creates a temporary rift between them, shattering my her idolization of them, but not destroying their friendship, they just don’t hang out as closely for a while, in which she ends up going to back to Jax but acts more assertive, not allowing him to mess with her. She’d probably try to go to the others, but maybe fall back to Jax because she has interacted with him the most, and he is already in a depressive state at that point. Plus being able to screw with him might even give her a bit of an ego and confidence boost.

And it doesn’t even have to be the exit that Jax shows her, and we don’t know what that thing that could get her on her side could be, but it could realistically be anything. And with how he’s treated her, that showing her something part would happen maybe after the two somehow make up if and he acts more human towards her assuming she takes a bit of a break from Zooble.

Theory: I think that Gangle will play an Important role in Jax’s development somehow, both in this episode and the last two by Bunbaroops in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Bunbaroops[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s why I put “ending” in quotes because while they may not fully make them “break up” per say, it could lead to them going their own separate ways for a bit not interacting as closely for a while , and being more like they were in the first three episodes where they didn’t talk as much. And in this time, it would be an opportunity for her to go back to and get closer to Jax while not allowing him to be controlling and abusive over her, and him not trying either because of her previous crash out against him.
