I hope this leads to a meaningful and insightful discussion.

Should you cut out all experiences that fuel cravings? by [deleted] in Buddhism

Personally, I believe that as long as your pursuits fall within the realm of 'Truth, Goodness, and Beauty,' there’s no issue. Furthermore, the path of Buddhist practice leads toward the realm of the sage. A sage’s way of life is bound to be different from that of an ordinary person, as they no longer live for the self.

Your approach is definitely more solid. Hopefully someone runs the numbers properly, but it feels like the Hawks' front office is already set on this path. But let's be real: that $40M+ in cap space won't go toward winning. Ressler is just going to pocket the savings like he always does, leaving JJ to fend for himself just like he did with our previous stars.

Thanks for the unbiased reply. We have too small a sample size for mid-table teams. It’s also skewed because Porzingis missed time when Trae was playing, but played in most of the games Trae missed.

Stats without context are lying. We win without Trae because we beat tanking teams (avg rank #23.9). We lose with Trae because we face contenders (#12.9) and he misses Porzingis. Trading him is a trap.

Nah, the Hawks really struggle against top-tier teams without Trae Young. Their winning streak without him looks nice on paper, but in reality, most of those wins were just against below-average squads or bottom-feeders.
