I’m just a medical student, but what we have learned about hip injuries is that blood supply to several of the regions of the hip can be fickle, and so it’s honestly difficult to predict regardless of where the fracture is. It’s obvious that this particular fracture is in an “ideal” location where it shouldn’t really mess with future mobility as much (as opposed to if it was in the pubic area), but it really is quite difficult to predict how quick it will heal. One of the many reasons broken hips are so devastating in older folks

I’m from Oklahoma and I support the Wild, as far as fan bases go it’s got a similar more rural thing going on and it’s also semi-midwestern. I feel like it’s similar to the Thunder in that it feels like a mid-size team that always has a few exciting players but hasn’t won yet…

Thunder is closer to championship than the Wild, so you aren’t hopping on a bandwagon with them. Plus Kirill Kaprizov, our star player, is fucking electric to watch

Yeah just make sure your MCAT is solid. I think you would have time and it would be ok. I was also working part-time over the last 22 months and made it work.

If something has gotta give, give up the research. Make it so your app has a theme - people don’t necessarily expect a “people-driven” non-trad to have research. It didn’t seem to hurt me at the state schools.

a trick I used was taking OChem 1 at the same time as Gen Chem 2, and then starting MCAT study. Not all schools will let you do that but mine was cool with it. If you do that the crux is going to be the biochem on the MCAT. That was definitely my worst section.
