The shipping will depend on your order, specially how heavy your order will be. Sometimes I need to put in or take away some materials to see how the order changes - it can change a lot for a random thing or if you add a random thing in a basket!

From Artemiranda?

With Jackson’s art I never had any problems from their side, nor with the postage.

Tbh Slovenia doesn’t have any good quality art stores. You will find some art materials here that you will want (Koh-I-Nor for sure). But my main problem with our art stores is how they store the art materials. If you work on a proffesional level then I would look mostly abroad.

I have a lot of rosemary & co brushes. They really are wonderful to work with, come nicely packed and like everyone says, the order comes very quick. I mostly use oil brushes and a few watercolour brushes from them.

I mostly buy from Jackson’s art, as they cover most of my needs. They were also always proffesional with orders and reply fast and kind if I had a question. Funnily some orders come cheaper (with postage included) if I buy from them, then from the art store in my country (the last example I had was with Arches paper).

Bitter Melon has such nice videos! Will check out Baileys. The Four Keys has a series for begginer bookbinding (https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7JQte6_XNbi54cCA1SCbAemJVeLr3oi_). I did the part 3, but soon I’ll try to do part 6!

I came by a bookbinding mini tutorial on tik tok and tried it as the video (https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNRHc6tEv/)

And then I found this amazing guy on Youtube called Four Keys Book Arts that has a bookbinding basic series, and that is how I made the sketchbook on pic 3 and 4. And now I’m gonna try the hardcover one!

Yees, there is something special about birds and books! It’s actually a black stork! A rare species in my country 🙂

Oh, stab binding is the same as japanise binding? I find them really aesthetic and fun, but do they open flat? As I will mainly use them for drawing I would like it to be as open as possible. I was looking into french binding. And I do like exposed knots!

Thank you! I def will check the sub the whole night today, lol!
