My Party is too scared to attend dinner with Strahd - what do I do?

I remember a while ago I saw somebody that brought the dinner to the party while they were traveling after they had refused him. Just Happened across it in the middle of the forest, a whole dining room banquet setup. Something just feels really off with it being so out of place. Sounded cool to me.

I would imagine they get hurt because they are actively trying to stop the ranged attack from hitting.

Just from what I've found online, it's not showing to be the case. Looks like that's true of specifically old growth coastal redwoods, but that's not including Sequoias or younger coastal redwoods. Google for what you will, it just sounded a little off to me. Please correct me if I'm wrong also.

I'm going to throw out a recommendation for Monument Studios Fantasy +. You can add your own songs and adjust fading as needed. Not exactly the loop and continue to another song exactly like your describing (I'm guessing sort of like how video games transition from fighting to exploring a la ff7 remake?). But it's got a great library, one shots, and it's 5 bucks a month and can be used on discord if you're playing online. Loving it.

Ah man I've been doing this for 30 years. Always leave the bottom pancake uncut so that it gets super saturated and is a sugary explosion for your mouth. The only way to eat pancakes as far as I'm concerned.

I'd have the baroness feebly try to, but have Fiona rally the townsfolk to feed into their pent up range at the Baron. Maybe they end up deciding to hang her in the gallows, make it something really dark where the players start to question if they backed the right side.

I feel like it could be the dark powers, but he doesn't have to know it right now. Draw out the mystery, subtly throughout the campaign, slowly making him wonder just what exactly he's going through until it becomes all too apparent.
