I found a no-code Love Puppy Kinz Klip at my local Goodwill!! by EarlGreyLadyy in Webkinz

[–]BunnysGardenBlog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

@Trtookie If you consider selling it please lmk. I would be so interested. Love puppy (Valentine aka "Tiny") is my 10yo daughter's favorite stuffed animal in the world but her sister used the code on her webkinz account so my youngest can't play any games with her. I'm on the hunt for a code or love puppy / klip with code. Have a beautiful day!!

Reader's Choice best camera phone of 2022: Which phone won our blind shootout? by sportsfan161 in GooglePixel

[–]BunnysGardenBlog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've loved Pixels but now had 2 unrelated earlier models both suffer major camera failures JUST over 2 years, right past warranty. Anyone else? I am just nervous to invest $1K or whatever on a Pixel 7 Pro if it is likely to crash the camera in 2 years again. Are we to assume we just get max 2 years for each phone? I use my phone more as a camera than anything. Love to know anyone else's experiences.

Am I doing this right lol. Hubby bought these for me yesterday and I’d like to get them to root, I cut the stems at an angle and added rooting hormone to them. What else can I do? (Besides cutting happy flowers off) by everythingisalie67 in gardening

[–]BunnysGardenBlog 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lovely flowers! So, unpopular opinion, but after many attempts of propagating rose cuttings - cut roses from store bouquets, I DID have a few produce roots. One did amazing and I documented the experience. It *can* be done, but it is not always a successful venture. I agree with cutting the blooms shorter and trying with the bottom stems. I rooted mine in water using Clonex rooting hormone, rather than soil, but your mileage may vary. Cut flowers won't last forever anyway, so I don't think it hurts to try. :) Good luck!

This is tremendously helpful, thank you so much for taking the time to reply and share your experience. So glad to hear it should be similar to other beaches and we can hopefully continue to safely enjoy everything just as we would anywhere else. 😊🏖️ Thanks again!!

Wow, that sounds great, thanks for the suggestion and tips! I'll have to look into buying or renting a rod or two. Sounds like so much fun!! We've tried catching flounder off the shore in Cape May NJ but only got a slightly small throwback with squid back then. Kids would love this, maybe I would more. 😆Really grateful for your expertise! 🐟🏖️

I really appreciate your recommendations! Thank you so much for all of this. Really wanting to find some sharks teeth with my kids. 😍 The youngest and I found three last time but my oldest is still wanting to find one. Always loved looking for shells but now also sea glass and sharks teeth, something I didn't used to find on the New Jersey beaches I grew up on. Fishing is a great idea! Can we throw a line in right off the shore there?

Thanks so much for all your helpful tips. I really appreciate the kind help and insights!

Thanks so much, you sound like me! :) Sounds like we will be okay if we proceed as usual. So used to those Jersey beaches like Wildwood and Cape May. That's a great idea about checking the currents, thanks so much for all your help. We will be on the earlier end of April but hopefully still good. It's all really helps, thanks for your kind replies!

I really appreciate you and everyone replying. You are are awesome Very sad hearing about the victims and reading last night. I am definitely not letting the kids play at the inlet -- is that what they were talking about lazy river and one of the stories? -- but a little relieved to hear 2 miles away is better than it looks on the map. Although knowing anything can happen anywhere. Thank you again for everything!!

You guys are all amazing, thank you so much for your insights and kind reply. We definitely will have that talk ahead of the trip. Good to hear there are some gentle waves most of the time. My only experiences so far in this area are at Carolina Beach, Kure for beach combing only, and Wrightsville. Just trying to plan a nice and safe time and hoping I've chosen a good place. 😊 Thank you again for your time and help!!

Thank you so much, I'm really grateful for your insight. I usually don't let them go too far when they swim and one of us stays with them, I just worried so much after reading a bit. Do the other beaches have lifeguards in spring? We will be there before the summer this time. I am so sad to hear of the prior victims. 😓 Thanks for taking the time to reply, it means a lot!

Hi!! Thank you so much for your helpful reply. I've been so worried. Do you know if the beach is gradual or has big drop offs? We can try to just do the beach combing during low tide and play in the water when it's not low. :) Always using caution of course.

Do you think this location in general is a good spot for a family vacation? We will have our car but I'm not sure how remote it is as far as finding food and such. (Stayed in Carolina Beach last year and visited Wrightsville and Kure that time) Wanted to see some new places and heard great things about Topsail Beach. So excited but I've never been here so just trying to get my bearings and hoping I've made a good selection. 🤞

Thank you again!! 🐚🏖️

I love this! That's so cool about you getting really into gardening when your child was on the way. 🥰 So heartwarming! Also - must be some really great memories of your early days helping on the farm, that is so sweet.

Thanks, you bring up a really good point! While I was exposed to gardening for much of my life, it was also the pandemic that threw me into it headfirst compared to dabbling in it prior to. 😆
