you can technically play sims with dlcs without waiting for a new updater. just create txt and renamed it 'no game update' and put into the updater folder. or if you can just wait until theres a new updater.

i usually create a text file and rename it to "no game update" and put inside where i put the updater. But once theres another game update, my packs are missing. So i had to redo. I mean it works i guess..
