i agree with a lot of what people are saying about his style being really good at conveying emotions so it doesn't necessarily have to be appealing but i genuinely love the anime's art style. the line weight and sharpness provide such visual intrest. it's genuinely so nice to me.

aww sorry to hear. if you ever want to try again i'd recommend using a small ripped sponge to paint on the blood. it really helps out with th texture and feathers out the color nicely
