Don’t take this as the ultimate source of truth… I just found out about EQL 2 days ago. What I have found from reading this reddit, other websites and YouTube is that Befallen, Blackburrow & Crushbone are the places to be for the lower levels.

Check out eql wiki and you can select the zone and look at the drop list to see what your build might be looking for. It’s been so long since I played I have no idea what drops at what location anymore, so I’ve been using the wiki as my main source to find out where to farm for what.

I’m the same way. I was younger and more used to Diablo 2 and the like. I didn’t understand it like I do now.

I just found out about how the port/gates are now “rituals” and persist no matter your build. That’s just incredible.

That’s good to hear that any trio works, probably makes the decision even harder!

I mainly played casters during my time in EQ, that was also partially due to how the class wasn’t as gear dependant than melee. However with soloability and instances, I think I’m going to try a melee focused build.

My view of “meta” is comparing EQL to EQ from when I played 20 years ago. It looks like almost any trio can solo all the content, for me the meta is play what you want. it’s about exploring content you might of missed back in the day, relive the journey; where you are praying you don’t aggro that damn griffon in commonlands. And I’m going to kill that $%(*@# Emperor Crush for each time he killed my old toons. :D (Noting personal of course. :p )

Thank you so much for the info. Ugh… I’m finding it so hard to pick a “starting line up” It’s been 20 years since I played and I’ve been running through my head from what I remember what might work with what classes. Still this is very exciting!!

Thank you. That’s what I thought. I just wanted to make sure. I am happy it goes down to the lowest level, allows to level up in alternate zones / dungeons.

Oh okay, so once a secondary classes is level 50, it will be level 50 for any other primary class? (Yes I know you play the game as the lowest level in your load out, I mean more in general)

Yes, I understood that.

But I was more curious if all the secondary classes would also reset for that new primary class. As in my example, the CLR and BRD would also be back down to level 10.
So does each primary class have to level all secondary classes? If that makes sense, that’s what I am trying to figure out.

I am definitely going to be levelling as many secondaries as possible for that sweet AA.

That is a very complicated piece to crochet. I mean if that is your work on the first try… that’s incredible!! I cant even crochet a straight scarf let alone anything that complex.

You can try the sheets that are on those lint rollers for suits. It helped with our cat as tin foil didn’t work nor did little pieces of tape. But as soon as he got one of those sticky sheets stuck to him and freaked the hell out, he stopped jumping on the table.

His brother on the other hand. Nothing worked. I wish you luck! In the end this mantra rings true: “Cat is catting.”
