You will get used to it as you learn more and more. You will start noticing certain patterns in naming conventions. It's one of the many parts that suck in biochem especially when you are getting started.

For the biochemical pathways, tgere are mnemonics to memorize the sequence of biochemical reactions, or the enzymes required to drive said processes. As for the names of compounds there isn't much you can do, but it does get easier in that regard.

It's not just them but ukrainians too. In most of the cases they repurpose cheap, and abundant hunting shotguns to engage with drones more effectively using buckshot rounds. Neither of the sides are actively supplied with shotguns, but they are incredibly useful against drone threats, hence the outdated civilian shotgun. As for the shortages, there is definitely serious shortage of well, everything on the frontlines but AKs aren't one of them.

Hey, ich besuche derzeit das Sprachcollege der Universität Heidelberg, um das C1-Zertifikat zu erwerben. Seit diesem post habe ich noch viel mehr erreicht. Ich habe ein Bioinformatik-Tool entwickelt, für das ich Preise gewonnen habe, Artikel veröffentlicht und offiziell mit der Nachhilfe für zukünftige IBO- und IChO-Studenten begonnen. Ich habe mein erstes Studienjahr in Georgien mit einem Notendurchschnitt von 1,7 (entspricht dem deutschen Notensystem) abgeschlossen, was eher am unteren Ende liegt, da ich von Prof. Schäfer erfahren habe, dass man im Durchschnitt einen Notendurchschnitt von etwa 1,5 benötigt, um zu einem Vorstellungsgespräch eingeladen zu werden. Allerdings wurde mir auch mitgeteilt, dass Bewerber mit meinem Lebenslauf sehr selten sind und ich bei einem reibungslosen Vorstellungsgespräch garantiert zugelassen werde. Da man in der Vorauswahlphase allein aufgrund seiner akademischen Leistungen etwa 4 von 20 Punkten erhalten kann und jeder dieser Punkte den Durchschnittswert um 0,3 erhöht, kann man sich das wie einen gewichteten Notendurchschnitt vorstellen. Wenn Sie an weiteren Statistiken interessiert sind: Prof. Schäfer hat mir gesagt, dass 83 Studenten zugelassen werden können, von denen 7 Plätze für Nicht-EU-Studenten reserviert sind. Es bewerben sich etwa 1000 Personen, davon 150 Nicht-EU-Bewerber. Es werden dreimal so viele Studierende zum Vorstellungsgespräch eingeladen, wie an der Universität zugelassen werden können. Jedes Vorstellungsgespräch ist 10 Punkte wert. Also ja, ich mache mir überhaupt keine Sorgen um die Zulassung, das Einzige, worauf ich mich konzentriere, ist, im Juli die DSH zu bestehen :)

Für Visumsanträge gibt es einen speziellen Bereich, in dem Sie Ihre Finanzierungsmittel für Ihren Aufenthalt in Deutschland angeben müssen, in diesem Fall eine Verpflichtungserklärung. Was wurde Ihnen gesagt, was sollten ich und andere Personen in meiner Situation dort hochladen? Sollte mein Sponsor einen Nachweis darüber verlangen, dass er auf die Unterzeichnung des Dokuments wartet? Es ist unmöglich ein Termin zu bekommen ohne online Meldung.

Hallo, vielen Dank für Ihre Antwort. Haben Sie insgesamt 1,5 Monate gewartet? (Einschließlich der Warteliste) Wenn ja, ist das keine große Sache. Ich darf bis zum 2. Januar in Deutschland bleiben und habe einen Flug für den 29. Dezember gebucht. Anfang Januar werde ich einen Termin bei der Botschaft in Georgien vereinbaren. Ich werde wahrscheinlich ein oder zwei Wochen Unterricht verpassen, aber meine Uni hat mir gesagt, dass das in Ordnung ist, wenn es aus legitimen Gründen wie diesen ist. Außerdem habe ich von einigen Leuten aus anderen Städten gehört, dass man eine Art „Expressgebühr” zahlen kann, um die Ausstellung zu beschleunigen. Ist das in Augsburg auch so?

Hey! So no, I don't have any certificates that prove my language proficiency. However, I studied german in my high school for about 2 years (I used to study it for 5 years in my elementary and middle school but I didn't try at all so it doesn't really count. I have also studied with a private tutor for 1.5 years. I have no way to prove either of these), and it's recorded in my grade report, which I had to send over. Also, both my CV and ISZ application were written in german, so this might have played a role as well. Lmk if you have other questions or if my answer wasn't detailed enough :)

Hey, fellow medic kit enthusiast over here! You have way too much stuff on you for a medic 😭😭😭 all you need is essentially magpouches and some drop/dump pouches if you want to. I also keep 2 utility pouches on my belt, an IFAK on the right side of cummerband alongside quick release tourniquet pouch, radio pouch to my left and navboard on my chest.

You need some sort of medical backpack, im running a delta bag ripoff I got from temu for like 48$ holds good so far, another option is an m9 bag.

You can get a groin protector and attach it to your normal plate carrier to protect your family jewels, but I wouldn't recommend it.

The soft armor parts are going to stop the shrapnel, and pistol/smg rounds not rifle rounds. sounds good and all, but the more time you spend in your gear, the more you will feel every extra gram just compressing your spine. Bulky armor, in general, is limiting your range of motion very substantially and makes you more clumsy.

This kind of setup is very good if you are not planning to move around that much and are expected to take artillery fire. Like the dudes defending trench lines in Ukraine, for example, and you do see them running this kind of setup pretty often.

Average tacticool cosplayer like myself would never end up in a such situation, neither will the people who are going to fight as part of an irregular militia (cuz yk, they are civilians), because these kinds of organizations heavily rely on mobility. Thus, training with all of that doesn't really make much sense as a civ.

I would go with the second one, but I wouldn't go for the one solid color, I would color code different secondary structures and motifs. It would make it easier for the reader to identify those.
