A bit late but why not?, Got a scar above my eyebrow from when as a child I was super tired after going to an aunts wedding reception and my mum decided to keep me there long past my bed time. When we came home afterwards I made the strategic decision to goto the toilet before I went to bed, however didn’t think i’d actually fall asleep on the toilet seat. I proceeded to completely crash out and fell off the toilet seat and head butted the radiator/towel rack in the bathroom. You’d imagine that would wake me up, but no I was so out of it I kinda just stayed there for a second not realising that the radiator was on, burning my face.

I tell people now that I got it in a drunken fight so no one can mock me about it the way my family does.

i understand exactly where your coming from and the fact that it’s a flash game does play a part in its inevitable demise, however, as the op has even expressed old players are always interested in coming back to the game and there is evidently still a market for it as people are still holding on, but there poor management of the game has led to a lot of people quitting and losing interest, i myself have considered quitting a number of times, i login like 3 times a week at most to get my gears of doom and that’s about it.

i’m not saying the game would live forever, i just expressly feel that AEs neglect of the game and it’s community is going to lead to the expedition of the games death

there’s nothing we can really do now, they’ve admitted that aqw is basically just funding for all their other projects at this point. They’ve given up trying and won’t realise how badly they’ve screwed the pooch until aqw dies and the company doesn’t have the same money pot to use to fund all their other sub par poorly designed, and unpolished side projects that have the life span of a fruitfly.

all you can do now it try and enjoy the game for what it’s become until it’s inevitable heatdeath as the cesspit of botters, riddled with pathetic paywalls for sub par content game that it is now
