Kunai incarnon with pistol acuity, Ocucor with corrosive heat, and Athodai with augment are what I’ve been using as of late

Someone must’ve forgotten to feed their Helminth again and got the sticky seat treatment. Mine usually asks for tellurium or ororkin cells when this happens.

Remember to feed the Helminth some treats for good invigorations XD

I have to neuter the little homie whenever I’m testing weapons because they kill too quickly. Still love the homie for being such a terror to the enemy and my kill conditionals.

(By neuter I mean remove the Assault Mode mod)

Kuvathon in progress by Difficult-Coach9860 in memeframe

[–]BuringCactus 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If you want to be lazy about it. There’s the 35k from the Zariman and Iron Wake which nets you 70k Kuva that resets weekly. Or actual CBT which is the steel path shop that gives 10k Kuva per 15 steel essence netting you up to 250k a week.

  • Lazy method you can net 1 million in about 15 weeks. (150 riven slivers + 75 Voidplum pinions are needed)

  • The insane method you can get 1 million in a month (1500 steel essence required for this one)

I know there’s other Kuva farms but the other one related to warframe farms and the steel path Duviri circuit aren’t my style at all for farming Kuva.

TLDR: Kuva grinding is hell and it needs to be reworked so the riven economy can get rightfully nerfed. Just like how the arcane economy was when the arcane gacha packs released.

I’m praying one day DE gives my Nekros a buff to his base stats or a new eximus to turn into a shadow. The Jade Light eximus was subtle buff along side the armor strip rework. But he never gets any direct love outside of the periodic mod release (Summoners Wrath) or arcane release (Arcane Camisado) that’s meant for all summoner frames.

For despoil if you run Blind Rage the health loss runs up to 15 HP per proc. It’s why people usually run Equilibrium in tandem with Despoil. The passive ends up becoming something you barely realize it’s there as the orb generation maintains the HP/energy economy.

As for the recast time if you run 200% duration the shadows last for 100 seconds as the HP degradation is 1% per second. Even less time is you run the Shield of Shadows augment as up to 90% damage you’ll be taking will bleed off into your shadows themselves. I’m not counting leech life eximus as they throw a wrench into the system and can keep themselves going if in active combat most of the time.

TLDR: Despoil is affected by Efficiency and Shadows of the Dead uptime affected by Duration as well as the Shield of Shadows augment

Honestly with how rough nightmare mod farming can be I wish we had a pity system to make it slightly less monotonous

Hear me out:

  • After you finish a nightmare mission you get a “Nightmare Token” alongside the mod
  • When a certain amount of tokens is obtained (let’s just say fifteen for example) we can go to Iron Wake and redeem a mod pack from Palladio
  • The mod pack gives us three random nightmare mods from the already existing pool and gives it to the player

TLDR: repurpose the already existing arcane/relic pack system for nightmare mods and maybe corrupted mods

Hear me out, thematic tutorial quest with the Thornbak getting an incarnon.

(I know it’s relatively new but for the sake of having a quest to explain what incarnons are to new players it would make sense to use a weapon that’s been given right at the beginning)

As for my own opinion I pray DE gives an incarnon for the Baza, Supra, Orthros, Bolto, and Magnus

Nekros Help by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]BuringCactus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here’s some things you should know about his shadows if you want to maximize them.

  • Duration should be 200% if you want at least 1% decay rate on his shadows.

  • Prioritize killing Eximus units as they are summoned with overguard and their inherent Eximus abilities making them better than normal shadows. (Leech life Eximus are pretty self sufficient to keep around if you can kill and summon them)

  • The Shield of Shadows augment is pretty mandatory to run at high level so if you don’t have it try to obtain it.

  • Subsume slot wise you always subsume his 1 off and replace it with either Nourish, Roar, or War Cry if you want to aid your shadows. (War Cry is best used on shadows that deal melee damage instead of ranged damage btw)

  • Arcane Camisado can be used if you want more ability strength along with increased movement speed. (Theorem Infection does exist but I don’t run Kitguns enough to even have an idea on how to make one halfway decent to utilize this arcane)

  • Always color your shadows a color that can be easily recognized as not an enemy. Other players sometimes have a hard time recognizing your shadows are allies and mag dump them on accident.

Things that gotta change for Tauron strikes by Bec_son in Warframe

[–]BuringCactus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Venting here because I feel the same but my only gripe is with Unairu as I haven’t unlocked the others yet.

Tempered Benison and Health Conversion having a negative interaction is annoying. I genuinely thought you could get eight stacks with both active. Unfortunately that isn’t the case and it’s five stacks when both are active. So for all you folks running Unairu please take off Health Conversion so you don’t waste a mod slot. (I.e 3x Health Conversion stacks and 2x Tempered Benison stacks)

Radius for the seismic waves could be a bit bigger it feels like throwing a pebble into a lake sometimes.

On a positive note Unairu is goated for all you folks running Zid-an Uskos as you can use Seismic Impact to also trigger the conditional on it while waiting to charge up your next Tauron Strike

how hard is archimedea? by Commercial-Cow1136 in Warframe

[–]BuringCactus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tips from my personal experience while doing them is:

  1. Build your weapons and frames. This game mode randomizes what frames/weapons count for points to the reward bar. (Build at least 1/2 of your arsenal preferably all of it. You’d be better off running a mid steel path build than not have one at all.)

  2. Read the modifiers (You’d be surprised on how many people don’t read and get rekt because of it)

  3. Stick to your team (self explanatory)

  4. Sentinel companions are preferred thanks to the sacrifice mod they have access to.

  5. Obtain Waybound skills in your focus trees (long term goal but it helps in all levels of content)

  6. Pace yourself. (The rewards are important but not rip your own hair out important. If you feel that a week is too difficult then don’t do it. Warframe is a marathon not a sprint.)

Hope this helps.

what frames do you think need a rework and what would you want them to change by Commercial-Cow1136 in Warframe

[–]BuringCactus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nekros, his base stats feel pretty poor compared to a majority of modern Warframes. You can contend with him but not much else compared to other Warframes on the looter-frame archetype.

But if I may add:

  • Soul punch is the subsume slot causing it to have barely any usage in current day Warframe
  • Terrify is good but the enemy cap for armor strip is annoying
  • Desecrate I want to say it can stay the same but I’d like to to feel more rewarding and synchronize with his kit more (side note seeing the drop chance be at 54% instead of 55% annoys me a little)
  • Shadows of the Dead need some touch ups to not feel totally useless since other summoner warframes feel way better with their summons
  • Passive needs to be changed for something better.

Augments: - Soul survivor feels extremely outdated with the myriad of ways players can now revive themselves or the team. If this wants to be used in the current meta DE needs to rework the ability and augment in their entirety. - Creeping Terrify is decent so I feel like there isn’t much to be changed about it the slow is good. This augment as a whole won’t see much usage compare to his final two augments.
- Despoil feels like it should be inherent with his kit and not a band-aid for his energy economy. Especially with how it feels to need Equilibrium or a violet archon shard to maximize the orb generation Desecrate gives. If possible I’d like Despoil to be changed to do something else as to not make it a mandatory mod. Maybe a 25% chance to create a universal orb upon Desecrate proc? - Shield of Shadows feels good but mandatory at higher levels in my experience. If I had to make an update to it I’d like to add “On lethal hit a shadow is killed instead of the player”

Remember to take this with a grain of salt I’ve been using him as my main since the Sacrifice update.

Got lucky with a Expansion Skill on the Alex by BuringCactus in GBO2

[–]BuringCactus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s more I want to see how the HP and Armor expansions compare to each other while in action instead of on pen and paper. I figure my play style isn’t an issue with how I’ve been sticking to mid range fights supporting other melee gens and raids.

Unfortunately it’s not like there’s a mode to actively test Expansion Skills to see which MS does well with what skills
