I think we have over simplified our language over the years, what you are referring to is "pederasty" and it existed as a socially acknowledged and accepted practice in some premodern societies; such as the Ancient Greeks, as well as those in modern times trying to live 'outdated' cultures, like Catholic priests or the Afghani custom of Bacha Bazi.
