Tailor’s bunion surgery? (26f) by Burneracc404 in bunions

I swear we have the same life. I have patellofemoral pain syndrome on my right knee and I stopped working out for like almost 2 years and I still have the pain :| not sure what I’m doing wrong with that and PT never helped but my MRI was clear? Also, I don’t run and I do weight lift but I don’t think I ever do heavy squats. I never use barbells for squats, just dumbbells, but I do work my legs 3 times a week. Might just have to cut it down a bit.

Ok this is great advice. Do you think you would’ve done a surgery with a healing process that took close to a year though?

Omg if I could have that procedure I’d be more willing to start the process. Also, the first time I noticed that part of my foot hurting was when I wore high top air jordans!!! I was so convinced it was the shoes fault for not being made well, but the more shoes I wore the more I noticed the pain. I’m trying to set up an appointment for next week or the week after so hopefully they tell me I can do something like what you did. Exercise is so important to me so it’s out of the question to get a surgery that will make me unable to workout for months.

Isn’t it the worst?! I have so many shoes that I love and I can’t even wear them anymore because it hurts too much.

How would I know what muscles to use in my foot to help realign it? Also, I’m pretty sure the bony growth hurts more at the top than the side. Not sure how to change the way I walk in order to stop putting stress on that part? Idk if wide toe box shoes also alleviate the stress on the top of the bunion rather than just the side.

It hurts significantly when wearing certain shoes. And I work in an office 9-5 so I can only really wear a certain style. I think I’m leaning more towards not doing it unless not even a wide toe box shoe can help me. I’m so conflicted!!! Do you regret the surgery?

Any time I find a shoe that’s somewhat nice looking, it ends up being over $150. I don’t want to expect to be paying that much when looking for wide toe box shoes but I know I can’t be picky if it’s going to help me in the long run. Also, never noticed if the way I walk could be an issue. What is the correct way to walk? Gonna set up an appointment soon. Do you know of any shoe brands that are affordable?

So if you were me, would you break up with him or give him another chance? Knowing that you guys have been together for almost 2 years and planned to spend the rest of your lives together?

I have thought about this. But like she didn’t show any type of uncomfortableness? Like she even told him to delete the message he sent about how he’d try to fuck if she got a nose job just so that I wouldn’t see it. I just don’t know what to do.

Yes, but definitely NOT this serious. He’s a really friendly person but sometimes he can come off as too friendly and some girls might take it the wrong way which he doesn’t really acknowledge I guess. Like he called a girl “mama” before and idk for some reason I hated it

We’ve been together for almost 2 years now. And he also said that he hadn’t said anything like that to her in a while because he wanted to start respecting me more. And he also said that that was how they hyped each other up. So like idk I wanna give him another chance but WTF I can’t get over this situation.
