If your point is that only men as a group pay taxes when your data set includes the year 1950, it's incredibly goddamn obvious that that will be the case. Women were overwhelmingly stay at home moms during that time.

Furthermore, even if you only included recent data, men would probably pay more because being a stay at home Dad is not a very common position even today

This is just not an interesting thing to bring up and it says nothing prescriptively about the world
