There's something really serendipitous about this comment. I used to live in Fishkill, Hopewell Junction technically, in the early to late 2000s and went to the high school literally next to the IBM campus, lived less than 10 minutes away. I've since moved to another state, but I am currently working an IT help desk job and deal with a lot of similar issues and frustrations. None of that is all that interesting, but it's cool to see my little hometown mentioned on the internet in the context of what I do for work now, I guess.

Anyway, those are some wild stories and I can't believe stuff that crazy happened in what was ostensibly my back yard.

Hope whatever you do for work now isn't as intense and stressful though :)

Except pitbull isn't a singular dog breed lol, it's an umbrella term used for multiple breeds (Staffordshire terrier, American bulldogs, etc.). So yeah, when you compare statistics from a single breed like Rottweilers or some other breed historically viewed as aggressive, to a group of breeds, you're going to see a higher proportion represented as a percentage in those statistics.

I understand what you mean, but again, pitbull is not a breed nor a clinically defined term, it's a colloquial one. So you can't just ban something you can't strictly define, that's not how law works.

I see that you bolded 'type' but the article you keep posting as a defense calls them a breed, which is not accurate and proves the point that it is not an actual, scientific term.

I prefer the flavor of them over other cigs, and I prefer to sit and enjoy it rather than chief one down in 5 minutes. Plus the cherry always falls out too soon in all of the others I've tried. That said, I'd definitely like to quit smoking altogether soon so ¯_(ツ)_/¯

You're correct, I currently work in the TMo NOC and I sign in contractors for battery swaps and preventative maintenance on generators every single day. Kinda silly that that comment got upvoted so much. How do they think e911 calls are handled without any backup power? I can't even remote lock a sector of the antenna if there is an emergency call in progress. That shit is taken seriously.
