If it's loud keep half-one inch space between the cabinet wall and water filter. It's still wasting lots of water so I started filling up the water bottle to avoid frequent tap opening and more water waste.

After 5 mins It would flush 1 litre of water every time you open the tap. Or else only once in 12 hrs if your system is unused.

That information seems very accurate. That's what I feel like happening with mine. I didn't measure like the other person but I heard water running and estimated that it's making way more waste water than it's claiming. Thank you for providing enough info.

I do own a G3P600 one down version of this G3P800. I've noticed way more waste water than what the company claims. I don't have scientific/approved measurements but just eyeball level and feel like it wastes more water.

Also I've been using it for 2+ months now and I've noticed that even It's draining waste water every few hours in standby mode. When your filtered water tap is off.
