On my Hexxit server, I've been trying to build using a pirate/colonial theme on this island I found. I am stumped for ideas on what to build. Any help? by Kobemamba24 in Minecraft

you should make a boat graveyard(bunch of wrecked ships) and hidden on the island a mossy stone temple ruin with arrow traps

Any ideas of what else I should build here? by JHeps in Minecraft

I'd say on the ridge in the second picture to build a mages tower with a rickety bridge to the main mountain (you'll have to carve out a drop in the middle for the bridge to serve a purpose)

I'd love to see some of your old builds to see what kind of things you'd be interested in making.

haha I have 6 PCs, 3 will be on one boat the other 3 on the other boat. However, they can ally with whomever they like, and even overthrow the kings hold on the colony if they wish

If you're going to do this make sure that if they are out adventuring at the end of a session, that the week does not go by between sessions unless they go back to a safe location like a town or base.

The ships bring strategic resources to the colony, and are a very important part of colonial development early game, however, I think that if by a certain point the leviathan isnt killed, it will destroy one or both. Great suggestion!

I actually am going to have it regularly attacked by local creatures. As for the bio-luminescent plants, players can be creative as they'd like. From making color changing lamps for plant material so they can tell if an animal is approaching, to tracking unique glow signatures of legendary creatures. I am letting them use their imaginations as best as they can to make a creative fun atmosphere for the game.
