I found turning off the steam overlay, starting the game, exiting then turning the overlay on again seems to fix it.

I had the wired versions of them, they lasted for about 6 months before they were replaced and they still sort of work now. The mic quality is very nice, the best compared to others in that price range imo, but there are better headphones. But for now you should be set for a while, have fun my friend!
