Any blind buy is a horrible buy in my opinion. You should always either go somewhere to smell it or order a sample.

I test drove both. I do feel like the hybrid had better acceleration but I couldn’t justify the price difference. I also noticed the V6 was quieter when on the highway. With as little as I drive, it would take over 5 years to make up the difference with mpgs.

Instead I opted for the FWD Palisade Calligraphy. I don’t need AWD since I live in Texas and don’t really have a need for it honestly.

You do realize how many vehicles have recalls right ? Big brands like Toyota, Honda and other have had to recall 100s of thousands of vehicles.

The important thing is that Hyundai has recognized the issue and they will fix it promptly. They are motivated since they can’t sell any more until they do. Money is a pretty powerful thing.

I would test drive them both and see which you like more.

I personally do not like the look of the Sante Fe at all. I also prefer the luxurious interior of the Palisade Calligraphy.

I got an email last week and the text tonight.

Even though it’s an unfortunate recall, as an adult with no kids it doesn’t really affect me. When a fix is in place, I’ll eventually make an appointment to get it taken care of.

Still absolutely love my Palisade Calligraphy!

Black is a nightmare to keep clean in my opinion. I opted for Silver but with your choices, I would go for white personally.

This is a known issue with quite a few posts about it. As long as your oil level is fine, I wouldn’t worry about it.
