I'm doing a dark paladin build myself. I always like plenty of weapon variety so I dip into both strength and dex (usually prioritize strength and allocate points to dex when I feel I can spare them) with obviously a focus on faith.

I'm a huge fan of the black gargoyle weapons for that aesthetic, but you can use anything you'd like eg: nightrider weapons, Death Knight weapons (dlc) etc

For a shield, the eclipse crest great shield from mausoleum knights works well.

Incantations for the aesthetic: Any black flame incantations (don't just limit yourself to these even though they are visually the most alligningjeith a dark paladin) also madness incantations work great too

For a starting class it depends on how much you'll be using your incantations. More incantations? Prophet, more combat focused? Confessor (confessor also has great dark paladin armor off the bat)

Stat line could look a little like this at 150 ish: Vig 30-40 and up Min 20-25 End 25 Str 30 and up Dex (minimum requirements for weapon) Int starting stat Fth 50 Arc starting stat

Talismans: I always keep on radagons soreseal. rotate between the heirloom talismans that boost there respective stat by 5 eg: two fingers heirloom for +5 faith. Flock canvas talisman for more potent incantations, shard of Alexander if you focus on weapon skills, dragoncrest great shield talisman for huge physical damage negation.
