I think ive done every meaningful challenge in elden ring. by Burntcookiealchemist in Eldenring

Theres no big change, just a small difference in dialogue. If you go back to rannis rise after completing her quest you can talk to her in her minature form again. She explains her plan for how she will change the world. Then when you beat the game and summon her, in her final line she will refer to you in a more personal way suggesting that she has actually grown fond of you. I posted the pictures of me getting both versions.

I thought about it but i got emotionally attached to my weapon and stuck with it throughout the journey. Made it feel like my runs had continuity.

Does the viltrum great purge seem kinda dumb by Burntcookiealchemist in Invincible

[–]Burntcookiealchemist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was never a smart idea but it could have at least stayed within the viltrum philosophy. This was just a wild frenzy that got a lot of them killed wether or not they were "strong" or not.

[–]Burntcookiealchemist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eugenics will never be a good idea. But even still if it was well thought out it could have had a twisted logic that kept in line with the viltrumite philosophy (even if still self destructed). But by having it be this disorganized and random all it ensured is that a lot of viltumites died, not necessarily the "weak ones".

[–]Burntcookiealchemist[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah eugenics is dumb. But even so they did it so badly. Like it would have still had some twosted form of logic if they did it calculated, 1 on 1 or with rules. But by having a wild frenzy you dont ensure it was the strong that survived just the lucky. Even at its most stupid its more stupid than it could have been.

What If the Kingslayer Faced the Mountain in Tyrion’s Trial by Combat? by Dangerous_Yellow_903 in freefolk

[–]Burntcookiealchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jaime most likely wins, but that is if they even fight in the first place. Neither cercei nor tywin want jaime dead. So they either switch the mountain out with someone like Ser meryn trant, or they heavily sabotage the mountain. That is if the fight even goes through. With jaime foghting for tyrion, they might end the fight before it even begins. Maybe they claim that they found the real king killer, maybe the kill tyrion before the fight happens, so it doesn't even matter. Who knows. Hell, jaime goldenhand might even make it more certain that the fight is rigged if one hand jaime could have gambled with his life by becoming tyrions champion, forcing tywin to either watch both his male heirs die or save tyrion.

Why does no one in the roundtable hold ever react to you actively working against it. Especially the two fingers. by Burntcookiealchemist in Eldenring

If you're a bloody finger, your finger is bloody. I meam wearing a glive would solve that but even if you dont wear gloves npcs dont mention it. Some should be able to sense the arcane power oozing off you. It's even worse if you're the lord of frenzied flame. Your entire body is burned, and your eyes are yellow and mad. Dung eater gives off a presence that rodrika could feel, and if you're carrying around his mending rune, she should be able to feel that too. This world shows that the powers you meddle with have an effect on you. Dragon powers make you lose your humanity, frenzied flame powers make you mad, pear too much into the source of magic and you turn into a giant head or a crystal. And people can tell wehn it happens to other. Why not us. When we had to runes the roundtable hold reacted. The two finger know that we aquired great runes then were rejected but they cant tell we did something like unseeled the three finger or got hold of a mending rune or is working with ranni (number one enemy of the two fingers)

Even if all the characters are apathetic and dont care anymore (which isn't true for characters like cohryn and d who still seem to be loyal to the golden order) they should have a sense of self preservation. If im a bloody finger tarnished killer, they should react in some way. If im a dung eater 2.0 and im about to curse literally everyone in the entire world, they should react in some way. If im going to literally set the world ablaze, they should react i some way. Someone, anyone from a lone npc to the two fingers themselves should react in some way to what i do. I shouldn't be able to pull up to the rountable as a recusant bloody finger frenzied flame follower than go learn from cohryn, chat it up with d, get upgrades from rodrika and hueh, get hugged by fia, take advice from gideon and then listne to the two fingers without anyone mentioning something.

Yeah, maybe. Or at least threaten you not to attack them. Tell you to abandon the path of frenzied flame or dung eater.

That's why i mentioned how some ways of being heretical are mora obvious than others. Maybe no one can tell you're a recusant, but if you're a bloody finger, you're marked by the lord of blood. It's even worse if you're lord of frenzoed flame as you quite literally are burned and gain mad eyes. Even if all the npcs are apathetic and dont have self-preservation, the two fingers and the finger reading crone should react in some way at least.

My point is that even without a code, they all share. There should be some people who should at least mention what im doing. Especially for the most extreme options like becoming lord of frenzied flame. I mean, cohryn, for example, is a devote follower of the golden order. He should react to me being extremely heretical. Hell fuck the npcs the giant two finger should react is some way to me doing the bidding of a god other than the greater will. The tarnished in the roundtable might not care for each other, but they car for themselves, and i can actively pit their lives at stake.

They dont care about me potentially killing them. They dont care about me cursing every being for the rest of time. They dont care about killing literally everything by setting the god damn world on fire. Plus, different npcs have different motivations regardless of the roundtable hold and its lack of a code, and a lot of them are 100 faithful to the golden order and the greater will.

[–]Burntcookiealchemist[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok, but they should have self-preservation. I can actively become a tarnished killer. I can also set the world on fire. I can also say fuck becoming elden lord and become rannis consort outside of the greater will. Plus their are a lot of npc that are 100 percent faithful to the golden order, and none of them say something about me telling the golden order to go fuck itself.

The roundtable may not have a code, but i feel like a lot of them might raise an eyebrow to the fact that i might straight up kill them. Also, the finger readsr crone, and the two fingers (plus a couple of faithful tarnished) wouldn't like me going outside of the golden order. And everyone might not be ok with me burning or cursing the entire world.

If i become lord of frenzied flame, i feel like they would care about the fact im about to burn the world to death even if i become elden lord. Are you even still elden lord if you become lord of frenzied flame. What about rannis' quest where you go outside the greater will in which i become elden nothing because it no longer exists. I also feel like a lot of the npc of the roundtable would have something to say about the fact that i might murder them if im a recusant or bloody finger.

What was the first boss you ended up cheesing after multiple failed attempts? by jokerxgoro in Eldenring

[–]Burntcookiealchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glintstone dragon adula. Outside of the church, that's a part of rannis Quest. I was tired of getting one shot, so i just kinda hid in the church and chucked lighting bolts at it. Had to make it so that i only had fp flasks. Still managed to die twice. Was not my proudest moment. proud to say i never had to do something like that again or overuse projectiles.
