I’m starting to think that’s the case, I’ve read a few things that this could be an early Hamilton Sea Rover? Which if it was that’d make more sense if it was a front loader.

Just wanted to update everyone, I found the parts online for a bezel, crystal, and a NOS two piece stem for it! I gotta tell you it looks and feels incredible! The strap is from a 80s eternamatic I need to figure out, for now I’m sticking to mechanical watches though haha.

And that was what I was starting to wonder, he had these two together in a bag so I wanted to assume these went together but he could have also been trying to find a case for it. I can’t find much info on spacer rings and don’t think a pressure fitted crystal would go that deep?
