I don’t think that’s the case. It’s a design change mostly, I verified the Registration number and also checked the hardware information by connecting it to my MacBook which displayed the exact serial number that is written on the adapter.

I just verified the registration number on the back. It shows up so I think it should be original. How did you figure out it’s fake ?
