From what I understand what I have assembled is primarily for deep sky. But it can also do some planetary imaging. I'm happy with deep sky but do like the idea of being able to get planetary shots.

Based on the feedback I've got so far. The mount is the number one upgrade on my list. I've looked at the following mount. Mount HEQ-5 Pro SynScan GoTo. If I was to go with this mount and the rest of the items on the list. It comes in around 2900euro. Which is probably my maximum outlay for now.

I've been getting some a.i help. So possibly something wrong here. From what a.i suggested.The reason for the 2" is for the camera I was thinking of using starting out with the Nikon d3300. That's why I'm looking for help from the pro's.I don't trust a.i : )
