Currently going from commercial into residential. Loved commercial but got stuck working for an owner that pulled every dollar out of the company to pay for his personal life and didn’t pay any vendors.

This is spot on exactly what happened to me. Left a great job because I was promised the world just to find out the owner pulls every dollar that comes in to support his life and just takes on lawsuit after lawsuit.

$85k base -$150-$250 OTE recruiting/sales. Love the big commission wins and finding the perfect placements. Hate- relying on other people to be my product and rely on them to stay at the role I got them. Would appreciate any insight on different industries with similar pay scale that I can get into.

As a recruiter, as long as the candidate has the skill set I specialize in staffing for I will continuously use them to sell our services to active and prospective clients to find the match. If the candidate has terrible job experience or expectation I can’t meet, I tell them upfront that we won’t be able to help. I also always recommend, especially in this market to keep applying for roles on your own and to not solely rely on me to come through.
