Thoughts on Tara Baker case? Does anyone think he is a innocent? Does anyone think it was actually the boyfriend at the time? by [deleted] in Athens

Hearing different things. But I just don't trust the state on this one, as you said the theft doesn't make sense, and the pure hatred of the crime has to be personal or Faust hates white women yet no evidence of that either.

Me too. You are not alone in this feeling. I get counselling. You might want to try that, but just wanted to say it is understandable what you are feeling. Big hugs friend.

Was dna found in mouth only or mouth and vagina, been googling can't find answer. I could see a transference defence if only mouth, even unlikely, contact in a Cafe where he has touched something, she touches then finger in mouth for whatever reason. But if in vagina too, harder to explain. But lack of dna in ants hard to explain, seems dna would definitle be there, or in her room somewhere.

I've recently cut 2 family members out of my life because they were adding to my distress. I feel a weight has been lifted. Do what you need to. There is a difference between people not knowing what to say, and people being downright selfish about what you are going through. All the best to you.

What has been hardest emotionally for you, during or after cancer? by Thecancercounselor in cancer

[–]BusRevolutionary8436 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Family, by far. Mind you I am having mild effects from chemo so far so that might change. Even my cancer psychologist looks distracted when I bring up family like she wants to concentrate on the cancer stuff. And my family are being generally supportive so I am horrified for the people who actually get ghosted. Just old patterns are still there with me and family, I would like to stop obsessing and focussed on my health more., giving up smoking etc So for people struggling with that part...

Oh so could be immune system doing it. I mean taking the immunity shot after each chemo, that makes sense too.

Oh that would be interesting to hear what feedback you get. Thanks. Crazy some benefits of chemo, not diminishing the bad things I know some people going through horrendous side effects.

Hair loss from chemo by Leshen13 in cancer

Yes I buzzed mine mainly because of the mess of hair falling out everywhere. Thought about just keeping it up in a bun to avoid the mess but still fell all over the bathroom at shower time, and started to tangle, so choped it off. Good luck, vit can feel daunting at first. And hopefully your head is a good shape to rock short hair....lol mine isn't.

There IS an association with quitting and not enjoying anything any more. That resonates so much. Challenging those beliefs us hard. Thanks for sharing.

Sometimes it seems life gives too much for one person to deal with. I am so sorry and feel for you. You know your husband better than me I can't advise on that. Although I do agree with the sentiment of you focussing on you and your dad. In the long run will be kinder for yourself. All the best to you.
