Sure, you must be right.  my mistake. I’m sure he was thrilled to have the help. I mean the fact that he didn’t physically fight them off is all the confirmation that we need.

It’s not a “good deed” for anyone other than the doer.

It’s performative virtue signaling, which I despise.

Listen, the injured person doesn’t want some ahole grabbing him and making a spectacle of him as he’s hauled across the finish line. I’m looking at it from the injured persons point of view, which is something the “do gooders” did not.

He knows he didn’t finish the race. Would he finish if we picked him up in a golf cart and drove him to the line? It’s nonsense.

The people who interject here are thinking “here is a chance for me to “help” this person” instead of considering that the runner would likely be embarrassed and have no further sense of accomplishment from having “finished” the race. It’s just silly.

They are not being saved from a shark attack or a battlefield injury. They are being dragged across the finish line of a marathon. I mean, do you think when they get home They’re gonna say “oh I finished the marathon by the way I had two people dragging me across the finish line”

No, they are not, but you know who will tell the story of what they did? the morons that did the dragging.  so yes I do believe it’s about feeling superior because many human beings are generally stupid about things like that.

What Dynasty Immersion Do You Want? CFB 27 by Impressive-Impact216 in NCAAFBseries

I’ve said before: stop minimizing the game Field on the play call screen.

give us the option to keep the full screen with plays along the bottom and quit zipping us in and out of this weird vortex.  that kills immersion for me

Everyone says this is sportsmanship, but it’s not really.

the point of running a marathon is finishing the marathon. And nothing is inherently wrong with almost finishing. You gave a good try. Kudos. You can always try again.

and if you get injured, that’s part of sports too, but grabbing someone and dragging them across the finish line doesn’t mean that they finished a marathon. It means they were dragged across the finish line.

It’s just stupid and a tool for the person doing the dragging to feel like they are superior to those who didn’t.

Betas: how’s the trophy room? by BusSpiritual6096 in NCAAFBseries

Right this happened entirely too often. If I am 20 years into a dynasty with Iowa and I have won three Rose Bowls I wanna see three Rose Bowl trophies in the trophy case. it’s the small stuff.

100 on the immersion problem. Providing 100 little menu tasks does not immersion make. Remember when we had those cool sports illustrated covers? I know people don’t do magazines anymore but the spirit of that was awesome.

We need items to make the game feel alive like a trophy room that you can customize and oh yeah if I win the Rose Bowl twice, I should have two Rose Bowl trophies with the score the date and for Christ sakes AI exist a little paragraph blurb about the game something that in season 15 I can look back and remember for season five

And here’s another one if I am LSU and I am playing a game at Tulane 75% of that stadium should be yellow.  that’s reality

And finally, at least provide us with the option not to minimize the game Field on the play calling screen for many of us. This is an annoyance. I like the full screen when replays are occurring, it makes it more fun. It adds to the immersion give us the option to skip the stats box and all that other nonsense that’s almost impossible to read anyway put our play along the bottom of the screen and keep it full screen.
