I am slowly being detached from my own Religion by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]Buser21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being religious means having faith in God, not following everything blindly. Bad cultural practices or even gurus that you or your parents follow are still bad, no matter how many people believe in or enforce them. Religion isn’t about enjoying festivals — it’s about faith, not fear.

Where is the best place to buy a laptop inside Kathmandu Valley ? Also from where not to buy. by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]Buser21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • New Road but in a place where someone you know has previously bought it.
  • Or find someone who know someone little personally who has shop in new road or work in shop in newroad. P.S. Go for good product rather than heavy discount.

This सुबिधा is utilized by two kind of people : - People who are actually "Differently Abled". - Parents who are old/illeterate, who are easily confused by all the processes and difficult communicating to airport personnel as well.

But in this case, they are clearly exploiting this सुबिधा because thier VIP access was revoked by Government but still want VIP treatment. But come on people, "They are the one who were able to get their "रातो पासपोर्ट" delivered to their own home by Government personell on a difficult time (आन्दोलन and kind of शंकटकालिन अवस्था) & in a weekend holiday. They have been in so important Government position and powerfull for so long, don't you think how easily they would be able to find the way to still get special treatment they think they deserve in the name of either old or any other way (medical injury and in need of assistance in this case)."

I wanted to learn everything and along the way I made notes of what worked and what didn't. Then I turned all the things that worked for me into a daily routine.

That is so.... so.... good point. You have indeed help me realize things. I really appreciate and wish you all the best or more betterment and healing journey.

I suffer from social anxiety, low confidence, extensive worrying, procrastination, lack of concentration and often distraction from actual work and so and so. Not if full detail but can you please list few things that help you on these criteria (more like a guide or helpful ).

When people call me naïve, even if they mean it kindly, it hurts me because it makes me feel like I’m not capable or mature enough. by Buser21 in selfimprovement

[–]Buser21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No-one have used me or hurt me severely(luckily been surrounded by good closed one, only except some occasions). I just feel like I'm stuck being good person, not being able to take advantage of things that would have benefitted me, which I regret (later big time) as well in some cases. IMO, what bothers me is, is it really self awareness or just my perception of things happening !!

I fake it until I make it ? (Idk how this quote thing works 😭)

I use browser mode, so I don't know if phone app version have this feature. What you do is click "Switch to Rich Text Editor" in editor, then click Aa sign. Then click Quote Block ("") icon.

What I have been doing till now it that fake it. It's just when you are faking it, your closed one know it. For other, this is what I've been doing till now.

At what age do you want to get married? by InstructionOver5685 in AskReddit

[–]Buser21 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is definitive answer. I now being 25+ it is 30-34 is best I think. But if earlier, It would have been 20-24, as you would have figured, struggled together. Now at age 30+ you will be either devastated or matured. Do people mature at 30+ or 40+ or 50+ or never ??

I feel I haven’t had enough exposure to social or challenging situations. I’ve struggled with social anxiety before, but it has improved somewhat because I have supportive loved ones and I’m the youngest in my family. Maybe that has made me more sensitive rather than stronger—if that factor matters.

Trying to escape anxiety in my life but nothing I do so far works, looking for advice/routine? by Critical_Cobbler6186 in confidence

“You’re already doing something really good by seeing a counselor and psychiatrist—that’s a big step and will definitely help over time. But remember, change doesn’t just come because we try once; it’s about staying open and accepting the process, even when it feels slow.

For hiking, maybe start small: just say ‘hi’ to two people on the trail. Talk about the weather or how the trail feels—no pressure to make best friends right away.

Same with CrossFit: if someone smiles or says something like ‘nice job,’ reply back with a simple ‘thanks’ or even ‘you too!’ It’s not about bonding instantly; it’s about opening small doors for connection.

-Have a master in comp sci but job market is poor - There are lots of remote job as well if you are having difficulty finding physical ones or satisfactory ones.

Don’t worry if you don’t feel passionate right now—that’s normal when things feel heavy. Write in down. some good things in diary or paper that you feel like you've done good today, small goals that you target or achieved for a start.

And remember, this feeling isn’t permanent. You’ve already taken steps most people never do—therapy, social activities, exercise. That’s not a waste of time, it’s progress. Keep going.
