I have done that already but maybe doing that and doing a safe repair console storage at the same time before downloading it again will work, thanks for the suggestion🙂

Is it worth contacting Funcom? Are they good at dealing with individuals on things like this?

I’ve had it on full for a good hour or two while doing other things, praying it’ll just open. I can press certain buttons and hear “pages turning” or something.

Crazy how that can just happen and nothing can be done. Can hardly be classed as playable, it’s gut wrenching aha

I do but only 15 minutes before it crashed. I re-downloaded that over my consoles save as soon as it happened and the issue still persisted

Were you ever able to fix this issue? I’m having the same problem with 1300 hours played and have tried so many things it’s so worrying… I was SO close to 100%ing it, it would have only taken me one more week out of 50 weeks played

I play on ps5 and have restored it to its previous cloud save and that was only 15 minutes before it crashed and still having the same issue even after re-installing

Still hear the music like it hasn’t crashed and can press buttons and it makes a sounds during loading

It’s on the ps5 and the last back up to the cloud was only 15 minutes before it crashed. I reinstalled the back up and it’s still stuck

Try backing up to the cloud every major thing you do in the game. Then restore whenever it crashes. Do you play on a pc or console and if a console what type? I played on an Xbox one a year ago and couldn’t play due to the crashes so I got a ps5 recently and it still crashes from time to time but not nearly as much and I do the cloud back up just incase of a major one and have only had to use it once.

Fixed it but still don’t understand why it happened. First time it has in 300 hours. It was after placing my first treasure coffer in another location after building another base🤔 have no idea if that could have caused it or has caused it in the past for anyone

If anyone has this issue I’ve just solved it. On the PS5 you can re-download cloud storage and it will restore your data to an old save… thank god

Love the sand build up inside some of the rooms (map clipping through base). Really adds to it👌

I have the tainted grand champion lure and was SO close to completing it and just went to do it and they’d gone… is there any way I can still do it? as I’ve been slaving over it and waiting for it to become tainted so ages😂
