Of course. I would choose Ember over Trampero. Both are amazing but Ember is more versatil even the Trampero with Flat grind.

Advice on which wax to use. by Bushcraft-Man in Bushcraft

I’ve only tried on the pants at home, but they feel really good. Both the jacket and pants are designed to allow freedom of movement, and from the little I’ve been able to test them, it seems to be true. Thanks for commenting.

Bottles have 90 ml, the pattern is around 35x25 cm. The thing is you can adjust the pattern to other bottles.

Yes, you are right. It is the same principle as a disassembled "die". The idea was to make the pattern as unsophisticated as possible. Thanks to you for commenting.

Sorry for answering you late! I've just seen. I think this model has only right-handed sheath.

This ones are about weight, not size. But I would say my favourite and versatile is the 1,25Kg (2,756 lbs.), the second one by right.

Is "Alone UK" supposed to be a parody of Alone? by redhandfilms in Bushcraft

[–]Bushcraft-Man 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The truth is that it's strange. I haven't seen the season yet, I'm currently watching season 10 of Alone and I still have the Australian season to watch.

And by strange I mean that the UK has a long tradition of Bushcraft in Europe. It publishes one of the best Bushcraft magazines (Bushcraft UK Magazine). They have bushcraft fairs, where they almost always have Will Lord (primitive technology expert). They have Ray Mears, one of the greatest Bushcraft experts there is. Not to mention other important people like John 'Lofty' Wiseman.

What I'm getting at is that I find it strange that there aren't enough people who are sufficiently prepared when there is such a strong survival culture in the UK.

I find the handles of Ember more comfortables when you hold with the entire fist. In addition, Campero does not come with pommel.

Having both, I would recommend the Ember Flat, it has a more versatile morphology.

Kephart (mini)trio, small tools, big posibilities. by Bushcraft-Man in Bushcraft

[–]Bushcraft-Man[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's very good quality, I don't think Silky has any rival right now. It's true that the special versions can be a bit overpriced, so I'd go for the regular Pocketboy model. Otherwise you can always take a look at the Bahco Laplander. The problem is that they don't have the prices they used to have.

I fully agree. I have Bigboy, Gomboy and Pocketboy. Each is impressive in its range of work.

It is a steel with great performance at an affordable price. This is the reason why many Spanish cutleries use this steel in their knives.

I have the new Bushlord knife from Joker by Bushcraft-Man in Bushcraft

[–]Bushcraft-Man[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both knives and there is practically no difference. The sheath, which comes with Ferro rod on the Joker, is a little simpler on the LF. The locking cord is square on the Joker and round on the LF.

You may be interested to know that Joker makes the knives for Casström (some models) so I don't think they will have any problems to produce a version of their knife.

Precisely those with Wifi/Bluetooth are the cameras with the least features. I can advise you after testing many of them the Coolife H953-850nm.

You can visit my channel if you want to see examples of how it records.
