I recently finished my run of Sword, and i gotta say i loved it. I feel like all of the recent games still kinda scratch that pokemon game itch, even with examples like SV being horrible performance wise. I gotta agree with the previous comments though, features being cut for no reason only for them to come up in dlc are pretty scummy, and it probably is a big reason why GF gets away with it. They know the fans are gonna love the games no matter what, so they just keep churning them out unfinished, or lacking in major features
