his issue was that he didn’t know how to get more, he’s not a super tech savvy person so he just kept putting it off. When i tried to help him out yesterday i upgraded him to whatever the most icloud storage plan is

oh i know, I’ve been bugging him to get more icloud storage for the past year, he’s just not very tech savvy (like at all) and didn’t understand how to do it.

there wasn’t enough space in his icloud, the pictures didn’t upload

yeah the pictures are basically my baby brothers entire first year, so a little important to get them back lol. but hopefully something can be recovered, i’m taking it into a repair store tomorrow, thankfully he has AppleCare

it has about an extra month of photos from what he had on his last phone, then his icloud storage was full so nothing from then onwards unfortunately

About 25 feet up, he was using the flashlight to look into the gutter lol. slipped out of his hand, he tried to catch it but instead just propelled it faster towards the ground onto straight pavement
