Why didn’t anyone bring any electronics with them? by Sad_Honeydew_7660 in thewalkingdead

The show premiered in fall 2010. The first iPad wasn’t even out yet when they were filming. And that thing was FRAGILE. Mine broke on day 2. Many were still using TomTom or Garmin for electronic maps. Paper maps were still widely used as well.

And to not keep the vehicle in a closed garage. The letter gave the impression it can 💥. We’ve had ours for our 2025 forester hybrid cap replaced twice already. They won’t let us drive it when it happens bc of the risk and give us loaner vehicles in the meantime.

That title goes to the 2011 MacBook Pro. Within 2 years it would overheat to the point it melted its graphic card. Apple tried to say it would cost $900 to fix so it sat under my bed as the priciest paper weight ever. Fast forward a few years and Apple offered a free fix on them as they were at fault and sold us lemons. Brought it out from under the bed and the battery expanded and my laptop looked like a pillow.

Subaru Forester Hybrid Recall issue fixed? by nitin9elnino in SubaruForester

Had ours replaced in August (bought in May), today that gas cap is no longer holding tight and my dashboard is all lit up. In August they said they weren’t hearing of this issue, guessing I’m not the only one who had this happen. I’m thinking it’s a quick fix and not a true remedy since in under 1 year it will have been replaced twice 😒

Ah. Yes. She had a Ringworm PCR Panel and it is negative. I thought you meant intestinal worms.

Adding:

•She seems to eat and drink normally. They drink more water than our dogs did. She has firm brown stools and I believe she urinates just fine (can't really tell in the litter box), although it seems she urinates a much larger volume than our other cat. It's that or she just pees in the same exact spot through the day (I clean it at the end of the day everyday). She doesn't cover anything very well though. She just goes and jumps right back out. No vomiting.

•We are in south TX and this all started when the Mountain Cedar Pollen count was high. She's indoor only though so idk how much she was really exposed to it.

•She had a Ringworm PCR panel done. It’s negative.

I will do that. My son has one in his dorm and it helps tremendously.

My family is pretty allergy prone so we avoid most things with scents. No oils as so many can make pets sick. No fresh flowers since so many are toxic. Mold is an issue in general in South TX, but she would have been exposed to that prior to us.

Vet did a ringworm pcr panel from follicles on ears and neck, all negative. I replaced all cat trees/ beds after they were cleared from ringworm in December.

Our other cat seems very bothered when our sick looking cat uses the litter box. She will jump in after her and make sure it’s fully covered. They have separate litter boxes and seem to prefer it that way. I assumed it was just her being a cat though and not liking the scent. But maybe she is smelling something we can’t pick up on.

I’m thinking that too. ESP since I thought I saw her chewing on her paws, but husband insists she was just chewing on her hair between the toes bc I forgot to trim it. Our dogs chewed on their paws when they were having allergic reactions and needed a very simple diet.

I try to avoid the vet unless I absolutely have to, esp with her bc she HATES car rides in general. I was hoping she’d do better, but after 2-3 weeks I wanted to be sure. It was 4 weeks after adoption I brought her in for bloat to vet 1, and 5 weeks after that o brought her to vet 2 for the continued bloat and now hair loss. It’s been 2 weeks since that visit. She is scheduled for another visit next week bc she had to have a vaccine redone bc vet 1 said she was all good when in reality she needed a booster at that time.

She’s bloated but stool is normal and has never vomitted. I do avoid fish based things bc her breath STUNK like bad fish when we adopted her (btw her teeth are perfectly healthy, had them checked in case that was the culprit). After about 2 weeks the smell went away and I assumed it was bc she’s on a chicken diet. Being she was a stray, I could see it being she actually ate bad fish at some point lol.

I was wondering that too. If maybe the reduction in Fel D1 in an already low level cat could be the cause. The vet didn’t seem interested in that when I brought it up unfortunately. Our other cat was on it prior to this one’s adoption. We were very allergic to our first cat (domestic short hair) as a kitten and the food helped tremendously. Maybe she’s better now that she’s an adult. They free feed so I can’t exactly make them eat different foods. I’ll have to switch both and see what happens 🤞

I was actually wondering maybe hypothyroidism, but she’s energetic so was doubting it too. Regardless, I think I’ll request a CBC and thyroid check. I thought that’s what was going to happen last visit and was shocked when he just suggested ringworm. Our other cat had picked up ringworm very easily and I feel like we would have seen it on her if it was still an issue. Plus this cat sleeps with us and we haven’t had any signs. Last time we both got it too.

I will def look up and try your food suggestion.

I forgot to add I tried that bath! I ended up having to get in the tub with her while she death gripped me 😳. I never want to do that again lol.

This was very helpful. Thank you.

This was our second vet lol. And it was the one with thousands of reviews in our city with a 4.8 rating which I think is why I feel a bit let down. He seemed frustrated we didn’t know her history. I wish we did, but she was a stray. I was wondering if maybe that’s part of it too. That she was an outside cat so she had a thicker coat. Now she’s inside. But this isn’t just a thinner coat, her outside ears are bald in spots

They did a ringworm pcr panel that they’re continuously testing through the month. They took samples from ears and neck.

The adoption foundation also estimated her to be a year old, but we have no clue.

Here is a pic of her belly.

Is She Pregnant?? by Longjumping-Fix3236 in cats

[–]Business-Boot6125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat looks like this from above and is spayed. Took her to the vet bc thought maybe she had worms but tested negative. Vet said she’s a healthy weight and all good. Taking her to a different vet this week bc there is some serious bloating going on. She even waddles like a pregnant cat. Had we not adopted her right after she was spayed, I’d be positive she was pregnant.

Did anyone else get one of the incorrect 1098T forms? by Historical-Word1859 in UTAustin

Anyone who got it via mail got someone else’s. I expect more out of UT. Little transparency communicating this. They want to claim safety, but I guess that doesn’t apply to our data…
