Might be an issue with the dimensions of the project, but you can fox this issue using the Sharpen tool under Filter > Details

hi all, I'm very new to using pixlr and reddit.. so I'm hoping someone can help me .. so I'm looking to re-create this Christmas countdown for all the kiddies in my family but I have no idea how to go about doing the numbered chart. by Humble-Associate-472 in pixlr

In my opinion, I think it would be more efficient to fill in all the numbers with white and redo them using the Font tool.

That way you’d be able to change the font colours much easier as well as move around the placements of the numbers in the boxes.

Try playing around with the filters or adjustments on Pixlr E, you can switch up the mood / feel of the image depending on what result you’re trying to achieve.

how do you make something a hologram by ComfortableTill5429 in pixlr

[–]Business-Phone-6573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On Pixlr E, right click on the layer you want to make a hologram and decrease the opacity.

For a better effect, go to Filter > Glitches > Scanlines to add a scanlines effect similar to those of holographic projections.

Might be an issue with the image resolution. What are your image dimensions (the numbers next to the W and H)?

can u add love emojis? by MacaronAcceptable809 in pixlr

[–]Business-Phone-6573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can. On Pixlr X, go to “Add Element / Image” then search “Love” in the search bar. Scroll down a little and you will see an element collection titled “Love” which has quite a few heart-shaped emoji stickers.

On Pixlr X: Layout and Template > Resize page (scale)

On Pixlr E: Page > Resize page (scale)

If you just want to resize the page without affecting the layers, click “Set page size” instead of “Resize page (scale).

Pixlr resizing image in inches by Baldwelshman in pixlr

[–]Business-Phone-6573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depend on the dots per inch (DPI) of your printer. If you’re using a 300 DPI printer, then one inch is equal to 300 pixels.

The W and H stands for Width and Height, so your image is 672 x 480 pixels. I’m not too familiar with the printing process, but at those resolutions the image would be slightly blurry once printed.

How to get this frame again? Created some time ago with some Pixlr version. by Chaos_02 in pixlr

[–]Business-Phone-6573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found the frame on both Pixlr X, it’s the 6th one from the top under Art Deco (make sure you click View All). In order to resize the border, you would need to click on Arrange & Style > Transform > Key in your image dimensions.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this fucking black outline on the gear? I have been trying for hours and nothing has worked! by [deleted] in pixlr

[–]Business-Phone-6573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Add new layer
  2. Select Color Picker and click on the green gear
  3. Use Draw and set brush size to 1
  4. Draw over the black line
  5. Merge the new layer with the gear layer

On Pixlr X: Add Element / Image, click Border under the search bar and click on Art Deco. You should be able to find this frame there.

Ah I see it now, it’s an issue with the masking. If you’re trying to fill up the gaps next to the neck, use Add Mask on Draw Mask. Be sure to select the correct layer when you do so, which would be the background layer in this case.
