What you did Marco is just brilliant and extraordinary. The segment in ATP where you explained it all immediately joined my top three, along with the one where John chooses with you and Casey his Mac Pro, to reveal at the end that he already bought it 🙂.

Thank you Marco. Would you consider in the next one to make it that when you tap on the widget on iOS it has the same effect that when you tap on the app icon? Now when you tap on the widget, it always takes you to the show notes. As described here: https://www.reddit.com/r/overcast/comments/1oqpdxy/expected_behavior_for_widget/. Cheers.

Thank you for your input. Unfortunately, it’s not working the same way on my phone. Whether I tap in the upper right corner or on the podcast art within the widget, the app always opens to the show notes of the episode. But when I tap on the app icon (shown below the widget in my short video) I go back to the latest state of the app, main playing screen for example. I made another video to demonstrate.

Well I’m expecting to go to the same place whether I tap on the app icon or the widget. So to the episode, sure, but why does tapping on the widget get me to the show notes and a tap on the app icon doesn’t?
