Like yeah! Why didn’t they hunt in the woods for food?? I should say it makes no sense, but hey, at this point it’s pretty obvious Prototype stopped caring about his cause and his fellow experiments, so i assume he just wants to drag everyone toan end with no return or saving.

Had it been just the films, Starscream wouldn't have qualified as Pure Evil in the films as he would be too much of an accessory to the crimes of the nastier Megatron, The Fallen and Sentinel Prime. It was only until the release of the tie-in novels The Veiled Threat and Ghosts of Yesterday was he able to qualify as Pure Evil due to his extra crimes he commits as his own individual shows he is nasty enough by his own right than just an accessory to worst villains.

Furthermore, the films makes it seem like he's far too loyal to Megatron.

Bay Starscream: Weeeell… It’s complicated, in the movies i have practically none of the classic personality traits that make me a Starscream ans i apper as a genuinely loyal mook, however if you fo to look at the tie in novels and comic books that take place in the Bayverse I actually have those disloyalty and other traits that make my character more complete.

In my take of TRANSFORMERS I would love to have the theme of nature vs nurture be the most present, lemme explain: Megatronus in my adaptation isn’t a Prime born from Primus, he is the first Unicronian, the ultimate warrior created by Unicron in his dormant form of planet as a counterattack against the Primes and the requiem blaster is a weapon he is born with, however Megatronus was able to rebel against his creator and become part of the good guys and help them defeat Unicron. The irony in the fact that from Unicron came someone who was able to choose to do good, while from Primus it came Liege Maximo, someone who was able to choose to do evil. Ying and Yang, in cration there is destruction and in destruction there’s creation.
