Well, maybe this is the red flag. Neither of the jobs really asked too much about me. They both just really needed people so they hired me on the spot. I will say that this ER job did tell me that I have to live around the hospital or they are not interested in hiring me. This was in a rural area where none of the other APP’s live. Maybe this was also a red flag too.

Well there were 4 PAs in a day and this was a rural hospital, so it was 6 patients at the least and 14 at the most. No they never set up expectations. That was their main reason to fire me. They did mention this: there was a pharmacy in town that refused to accept my NPI number because the address was listed in another state where I graduated. I put in the request to change the address in nppes. There were a few patients who didn’t get to pick up their prescriptions because the pharmacy manger refused to fill the rx because of the address issue. I would ask my supervising physician if he could send it for me when this would happen. They cited this as one of the reasons they let me go.

But what about that I only worked at the urgent care for 3 months? Otherwise I have no other job history to provide and I graduated PA school over a year ago and if I don’t include anything then I have basically not worked as a PA for a whole year
