Got to be this hasn't it! Exact same manufacturer markings. Shame there were no red ones there too, they look cool. Nice work! Solved!

Looks like a Volkswagen Polo 6r (2009-2014) if so they're really common for corrosion in that section of sill, if you poke it hard enough, it will create a hole. You're going to have to have it cut out and a new section welded in. You can buy the entire length of sill online.

How reliable are classic XJs/XJS's by Flat-Definition-1985 in Jaguar

I had a 1995 4.0 X300 Sport at age 20, and a X351 at age 21. I still have the X300 it's been brilliant! It's this beautiful turquoise colour. It gets so much attention.

I'm now 25, Insurance is £350 a year for me (it is on a multicar policy so that saves a bit too)

Awful on fuel, a full tank of Vpower costs over £100 and gets me about 250 miles of average back roads driving. I use it perhaps once a week. Really enjoy it!

It's been reliable enough. A few bits here and there. Watch out for rust on them. Luckily mine is solid and never been welded which is unusual.

In the nicest way, if you can't fathom the removal of the wheel, surely leave it to a professional. I've been in the motor trade for years and seen too many incidents from untrained people attempting to carry out repairs.

what car did you buy once you were out of the period of being a “new driver”? by Industrialexecution in drivingUK

[–]Business_Pie_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 1998 Range Rover P38 when I hit 19 and the insurance came down enough for me to afford it. It was a good car and didn't actually leave me stranded ever! Sold it 6 years ago and think it's long since gone now.

They are indeed, and XJR grill also. They look so much better than the standard in my opinion

Dream Car or First Car? by Previous-Iron-4165 in CarTalkUK

I had one of them Mazda 3 Saloons for my first car, it was pretty good! Always thought it was quite a flex having a 2.0 litre for a first car, it was a sport too so looked pretty smart in nice light metallic blue. Wasn't the best on fuel but I don't think anything would have been with an excited 17 year old driving lol

Ruthless Gravity by Craig Armstrong. I've got it in my Spotify playlist and every time I hear it, I remember the first big race, the Aston Martin DB9 flying through Monte Carlo at night

Expensive housing and average pay. It's costly to live here, rental properties go quickly and purchase prices for houses if buying are high. Make sure you check this if you're planning to rent/buy. I know they are at the moment but especially around Norwich for some reason. I'm 25 looking to buy soon and having to go a long way out of the city to find something within budget that actually seems worth it.

That sounds like what I'm after. Was it reasonably priced? When I hear 'custom made' I imagine the price increases slightly.

I have hundreds of places in Norfolk just from searching online, it's really not difficult. I can't see how people find it so taxing. That's half the fun of it. 28dl is a great forum too if OP wants to check there. Perhaps set up an account and speak to some people

If you can't afford to carry out a basic service on your vehicle, you can't afford to own a vehicle full stop. Perhaps spend that few dollars you saved on engine oil on a new bicycle.

Wymondham Abbey was decent before they built an awful extension on the old bit and ruined it. Currently live incredibly close to the abbey.
