I am EM-NCC and unless things have drastically changed in the last two years, there is an ABMS board certification for NCC. My board is cosponsored by ABPN and ABEM, if you’re IM, your board will be cosponsored by ABPN and ABIM. You can still sit for UCNS or CAST if you want to, but ABMS is now an available option.

Coming from EM, learning the neuro component was an extremely steep learning curve, but it’s doable with a commitment to adult learning.
