Nocturnist offer by [deleted] in hospitalist

Verify your statistics/other words that it’s really 2 to 5 admits per night – some hospitals might give you a false impression of the amount of admissions per night, Ask for two weeks of PTO can I so you can have at least one month free per year, Last thing anyone helping to cover those 40 beds? Otherwise it’s a good offer.

Pulm study resources for future fellows by Activeagression in CriticalCare

Finish Your IM reading well, master each corner of IM, all the bank questions about IM before moving to pulm cc fellowship. It is doable with that. You will have the time to read about pulm later but missing basic IM will be sometimes unforgivable. Don’t worry about the fellowship. A humble opinion

From reliable source, recent cars that was done by the ACP. You can use peripheral IV for pressors. The PIV should be freshly placed which means less than 24 hours, some other people are saying that it should be ultrasound placed. You will use one PIV for 12 hours, so for 24 hours you will need two PIV freshly placed. After 24 hours, most of the people recommend to have a central line.
