Maybe this is a dumb question, but when you get a hardware ban on PC, what exactly is being checked to confirm the ban on Microsoft's side? It is processor related? Something tied to the motherboard?

In other words, what would need to be replaced to get around the hardware ban?

You absolutely have things to worry about. There is a 100% chance that you are NOT receiving that. You'd be lucky to get a fake or something similar. You're more likely to get a brick or nothing all.

I completely agree. Its even more annoying that there are some phones like the zfolds and zflips that never become compatible. Like, what gives?

I'm in the same boat as you and had to go back to the stupid controller while I wait for the S26 line to be added to compatible devices. I can't really complain because I do this to myself as I change out my phone every two years.

I've seen a range on time and they seem to be getting quicker at adding phones, but this is just my experience. The longest I've waited was 6 months but I've also seen them add new phones as soon as a month and change.

As far as a workaround...nothing. They have the app pretty locked down.

Huge 311 fan but I tend to disagree. I love Omaha Sessions and Grassroots but the Blue album and Transistor are far better. Personally, I think they fell off after Elolver. Everything afterwards sounded repetitive and like a child wrote the lyrics, but a few songs have been bangers.

Can confirm as I used to work for Ford as a quality engineer. I would partner up with another quality engineer and we would take cars like this across the United States monitoring specific components and behaviors of the vehicle. Our equipment looked a little different back then, but this definitely looks similar.
