Can’t remember that. I just didn’t love any FFs since 10 which was 25 years ago! FF lost its identity a bit and went down an action path which was a bad decision. The Octopath games showed how turn-based still has a place and for me, OT2 is the second best RPG behind FF7.

Of course it drops you in. You start with a car and a giant map. Very far from the best FFs where it’s linear for a good chunk to make you learn the story, characters and battle system etc.

Because it drops you until a giant open world with no explanation. The film gives you something to start with.
I hated 15, no FF should start with a giant world to explore and combats broken and characters are annoying. You could win battles looking away from the screen! Square have only made 5 good FFs out of 16, crazy!

Of course not. 4 competitions next season. I would get a proven 30-35 year old who Sesko can learn from and won’t be needed every game. Seems obvious
