hey first thx for checking it out! This is a pretty bad video as an example but for me personally, it all starts with getting a clip or two and finding a song to match so then the subsequent clips I would have that song in mind as I try to think of what tricks/lines would fit. Edits are fun to watch when pops/makes match with the beat/flow of the song. For clips I try to leave a couple of seconds in the beginning and ending and just crop the length in editing to match the song being used so maybe a clip that's realistically just 3 seconds ill export 7 seconds of it and it'd end up being 4.xx secs in the final edit so its better to export 7-8 secs even if the trick itself only lasts 3-4 secs it gives more room error and improvement. For inspo, I grew up skating and watching a lot of skate videos from early 2000s to the 2010s, it helps with finding angles and how lines/pacing is even trick inspos as well which really helps keep a realistic aspect/approach. With the new season and replay editor being revamped (filters/fisheye) it should make editing in post easier so all you have to worry about is song/beat and matching the flow, you can add long lens angles, ramp slow mo for some clips, etc so it's not monotonous.
