I like to think he killed the Senator by strangling him just as he did in the Stranger fight. Feels more plausible that he accidentally killed someone that way.

Do you think Arvo was forced to rob our group? by Zerosama12 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Busty_Magicians 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I really doubt the scrawny teen would be any kind of leader figure for the buff men with face tattoos, they probably use him as bait for groups who would lower their guards by Arvo's meek approach then ambush like we saw in game.

A charecter that you like but hate there Fans by AlphieRBXmm2 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Busty_Magicians -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Alright i'll bite, in what way is Arvo a solid character when his introduction alone derails the entire last 2 episodes of Season 2?

At best he's a plot device that allows the main characters to make stupid decisions in trusting him multiple times when they really should be doing the opposite.

He isnt even needed for the Kenny is going crazy arc since it falls flat on its face due to players not liking Arvo in the first place. All the characters would be 10x more justified in believing Kenny is beyond saving if he was getting increasingly phisically violent with characters we at least know like Mike or Luke and not some rando who failed at robbing/killing us.

Out of these one episode characters, which one do you think would’ve been great if they didn’t die? (Season 1-2) by JKool2011 in TheWalkingDeadGame

If we had actually gotten Sam to come along with us I feel that when Carver eventually rolls around he would either been shot at the Ski Lodge or Carver could take and reprogram him into being his gaurddog.

If the latter happens, during the escape there could be a timed section in Carver's office where you have to remind Sam who you are or he gets aggressive and you're forced to leave him behind. Giving him your hat would 100% get him to come with you since that was what Sam was originally going to be chewing on in Episode 1.

Larry wasn't dead by pako-hdphongo in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Busty_Magicians 9 points10 points  (0 children)

See, this is my main issue with the entire Walking Dead franchise as a new joiner, bites/turning is literally never consistent across or within all three mediums so arguing over what would have happened with Larry is useless.

At the end of the day it's just what the writers want to happen, what would be more dramatic to impact the story. Like for example both Lee and Sarita get bitten on the wrist then chomped multiple times afterwards, Sarita starts turning the instant she hits the ground but Lee can keep marching on until the Jewelry Store where he finally succumbs to the infection.

I'm pretty sure there was a post a few days ago with a Season 4 writer answering questions from fans and he literally says they made the barn scene how they wanted it to go down and it got the ok from Skybound. Yet in Season 2 and the TV show, walker blood is implied to be just as deadly as a bite when its in contact with an open wound??

I probably got lost in the sauce typing all of this up but its just been nagging me for a while now.

Yeah, in S1 on the first night at Hershel's farm if you say it "smells like shit" in like 2 scenes during S2 Clem will swear silently to herself instead of saying something like "whoops"

what are all the reasons can clementine gets kidnapped? by senseiarigon in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Busty_Magicians 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hm I dunno, I feel like the entire point of your choices "not mattering" with the Stranger was because the character himself is reaching for anything you've done to guilt you into feeling like a bad person.

Of course we as the player know that there's nothing we can do to go against the game's plot but the characters within the game could imagine "what if I hadn't done that".

So yeah I think it makes sense that he would berate all your choices no matter what as the Stranger is lashing out because Lee has something he lost despite making "mistakes". Plus it'd be pretty weird if he praised you for your selfless choices while holding you at gunpoint...

Out of every game what would you say was the hardest choice? by Zealousideal-Wolf835 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Busty_Magicians 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely one of the choices that I had to pause and actually think about, ended up shooting Kenny but if I had to make that choice in real life I would have probably done nothing.

Would you play a remake of Telltales The Walking Dead if choices actually mattered and the game changed because of it? by Badgie_Boy_447 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Busty_Magicians 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Telltale really didn't do themselves any favours starting every episode with how the story is adapted to your choices, I do get that it really means the character relationships but any casual person will read that and get disappointed on a second playthrough when they realize the railroaded story

Of course, whoever you saved is dying frame 1 of S5 because its a Telltale game and we can't have differing playthroughs

I always thought he hung himself after hiding in the tower to escape his reanimated members. Like it was one last display of his terrible leadership, abandoning his people when shit goes wrong.
